Switching an auto to 12/12

CAN IT BE DONE? HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS BEFORE WITH GOOD RESULTS (IF ANY)?

Somebody has to have tryed this before or at least done it any info appreciated!!

I've cultivated autos of several strains under floros, cfl, T5, hps ....24/0..20/0....12/12 and also outside. I feel they benefit from more energy regardless of type......The nicer ones will come from good cultivation, correct feeding/watering and environment....I've had some nice ones from all types of lighting ...with all conditions being equal, my 1000w hps made monsters..........I seldom do 12/12 for autos as their lifespan is set already and reducing energy they need isn't gonna help much...........

The reason i wanted to do so was due to the fact they havent flowered yet.....7 weeks old (jock horrors) repotting/nute burn might have set them back but still way too long for an auto to veg!

Thats strange. Might not hurt to try it. Shoot it back into normal cycle when preflowers start. if it reverts back t veg then it's not really an auto

Appears you don't have an auto strain....I've never had one that didn't show sex by week 4.......and yes, put it in 12/12 in hopes of forcing flower to try to salvage your plant for what it's worth...perhaps its a pheno of the strain....when I first got into autos, there just weren't many strains to choose from but as the interest in autos grew, seedbanks began crossing everything with a lowryder strain.........one could be sure that some of the phenos of the non-auto strain COULD and WOULD show at some point....
