so I've had a couple of runs with FFOF and it's great. Is there any suggestions for a soil with a lighter charge ? I would like to use nutes sooner in the growth stage. I don't want to go fully into coco so something soil would be great.

Just a tip about pro mix. They use different grades of peat in the professional and Home Depot products. There is tons of info on the Premier Horticulture website. Tons of great greenhouse type growing information too.

If it is available try to get the hydro store packaging. It is available at farm and feed stores here too sometimes.

And it has a seedling charge that always lasts me about 2 weeks before I started supplemental feeding. And it was always ph stable for me.

As far as a soil that is not as hot and needs nutes sooner: Happy frog is one. Black gold natural and organic another.
I would say vermisoil is a little weaker than FFOF, and it is ammended with coco, and for that reason is why I up pot into vermisoil when I grow in soil. I start cuts in the Black gold N&O though first. It is killer for cuts
