Soaked buds from continuous on and off rain

Are soaked buds harvestable? Like they look slimmer before the on and off downpour of rain and a few stalks already have bud rot at the tips which got chopped. Can I chop the stalks a shake and hang ‘em upside down to drain and dry and fluff back up and m Hoping? What else can I sue to rid them if excess rain?

yeah you can dry them out, it'll just take a couple of extra days, and you should probably use a little more air flow than normal to keep them from molding again. once they get down to a safe range, slow things down considerably, and do a normal dry, just keep an eye out for any mold you might have missed

I wash my buds. Totally submerge whole plants and large sections. Hang em in the sun or if no sun in the garage with a box fan on em for an hour or so. Then dry as normal.

Here’s my other solution. Raining today and the big storm comes tomorrow.

Please forgive me for stating the obvious, but in nature, it rains. These plants that we cherish so much have endured the test of time throughout millennia. Of course, in nature, it is also true that only the strong survive. In modern-times we want to keep all the plants that we grow (if we can). So, here's what I do:

Bud Washing

Here’s how I do this:

4 buckets total. (5 gallon buckets are perfect)
Bucket 1: 3 parts RO water to 1 part 3% H202.
Bucket 2: 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup Lemon Juice and fill with RO Water
Buckets 3 & 4: RO water only.

Cut down plants, pull off fan leaves by hand, remove any necrotic leaves. Leave sugar leaves and anything with frosting on the plant.

Fully submerge in bucket 1 (H2O2) for 30 seconds. Submerge for a full minute if you had ANY sign of PM or bud rot. Let water drip from buds and then.....

Fully submerge in buckets 2 through 4 for 30 seconds each...lightly agitating the whole time.

Allow your branches to drip dry. Hang and dry as usual.

Others have taught me this, and I have learned that this makes your buds smoke so much smoother. No worries about bud rot, molds, or mildews either... the hydrogen peroxide kills all that.

most plants growing wild will not have the same structure as the inbred "strains" most people grow...the buds will usually not be nearly as massive, and full of seeds, the leaves will be growing more erratically, due to insect damage, animals grazing, violent storms, prolonged time between rains. there will be no "training" so they'll tend to be taller with less branching...
in other words, much more adapted to rain fall. when you take a modern strain, that has been mixed with countless other strains and phenotypes, bred to be good yielders, have been pampered and protected from animals and most insects and adverse weather, they do not stand up to rain or anything else as easily as wild plants do

Bud wash, ambient temp water or warmer and the trichs will be fine in peroxide solution. I don’t do the lemon step.

Exactly... Just like I said: "Of course, in nature, it is also true that only the strong survive." So, like I also said... wash ur buds with the recipe I shared and U should have no problems.
