I have a 3ft corn snake and was wondering since it eats mice would its shit be any good to mix in with soil to help as fertilizer? I once used cow dung which was great though i do use bio bizz organic nutes now, it couldnt hurt to try putting some snake poop in 1 of my plants soil as an experiment could it since nothing greqt was ever discovered by venturing and doing, i will post pics once i start, please let me know what YOU think

I'm all about experimenting, and am interested to hear how it turns out. I would think it would be some "Good Shit", lol. But I have no idea really.

Pathogen concerns if you use fresh shit. Consider composting first.

Some shit composts quicker than others and needs less time for aging. Never used snake shit, but have been impressed with rabbit shit. Isn't snake shit, kind of loose, like bird shit ? Ewww!

i wonder if snake castings have benefits similar to worm castings?
they dont decompose ewc cause they're already broken down for the plant right?
I would think though since the snake is a carnivore it won't be the same at all.. worms usually eat mostly vegetable

I'm under the impression that herbivore shit is friendly plant shit quicker than predator shit. I think out of the gate, so to speak, worm shit isn't as scary pathologically speaking as snake shit.

A guy in Pennsylvania uses compost toilets and has been composting human shit for years and grows vegetables from it with no ill effects. He wrote an interesting book, "The Humanure Handbook". He doesn't crap in his garden...he composts it for a couple years and uses several time progressive outdoor bins to ensure he gets all the good, without the bad.

Haha no mate when it does a shit there is some loose stuff coz like most of is they end up squeezing out a piss first but it's shit actually comes out after that and it does dry pretty quick, when I repot and have mixed it in 1 or 2 plants I will keep y’all informed of progress

:spew:Each to their own mate if that's your sort of thing I ain't judgemental but you néed to pay if you wanna wipe my snakes ass coz she's a stunner, but no actually a snake lifts their tale and projects it's shit away from its body, if you've ever felt a snake you would know anything wet just runs off their body as they ar slottleessly clean and dry not slimy like some crazy doofers think
