skywalker og from seed

i finally got my 4 babies into my room im growing in ffof & 3gal. smartpots under a 600w. hps will be using gh 3 part nutes along with advance nutes big bud usually i grow in coco but im wanting to try the soil for this grow i would like to hear from others growing og strains & crosses r/p says this has og 18 in it too so far ive noticed a lot of 3 finger leaves that i didnt have in the holy grail or their og kush & early on this stuff is kinda stinky im really hoping for that funky,fuely smell & taste not to mention og potency ive been growing fruity strains [a lot of sub-cool stuff] for awhile now & im wanting a change i also would like to try gage green daybreaker it seems to me that non fem. seeds are easier to pop & healthier even if you gotta weed out the males here is a few pics

I'm growing a skywalker og to but the leaves have 5 each and their thin . Not fat and with three like yours . Why is that ?

Probably too much heat, that can cause it.

Different seed, different pheno, different grow conditions.

ive got to agree with ace 720 as my knowlege on og strains is not very much i once had a nice cut of 707 headband which i let slip away & then i tried holy grail in coco which didnt produce what i wanted then i had an attitude freebie og kush which gave better results but not quite there yet the skywalker is now giving some 5-finger leaves but theyre still fat & stubby which i usually associate with indica dominant strains they are getting thinner though i know somewhere on this site someone will have something similar i recently grew out female seeds skunk special & then i bought a 5-pack of sub-cool spacedawg 1 pheno is identical to the skunk special the other is way different & takes 3 more weeks to finish so i truly wonder how many times we buy the same shit with a different name like everyone else i want a potent kick-ass product & this is my latest attempt og stuff seems to be the in thing right now so hopefully there will be some good info exchanged here as this unfolds so if you got a favorite strain please feel free to post here all info ,questions & comments welcome at some point i want to get back to coco & im looking at a galaxy 250-400 switchable ballast & a 2x2 e&f tray to do my experimental grows & get them dialed in i also have a 1000w hps & a 4x4 tray i would like to fire up someday

started training 1 plant last night & this morning it looks like im getting the result i want i'll do the others tonight i havent determined how long im gonna veg for yet because i would like to get some good clone sites as well off each plant i have them numbered 1-4 & i'll number the clones as well because these look pretty much identical now but as they get older that can change & in the event that it does i'll be ready im gonna give them a light feeding tonight they are taking to the 600w. hps well & im gonna lower the light tonight & spray for spidermites as well i use organocide for mites & bugs it works good & is certified organic after all you are putting this in your body i got the stuff at home depot for $14.00 & it works good

i started training the others as im off work today & im starting to notice a little difference in the structure of the plants & #3 is gonna give more clones compared to the others also gave them their first feeding today

no pics tonight but things are going good & theyre responding well to supercropping will have pics in the next few days

ok im not getting the fast growth im used to with hydro but things are going good despite my grumbling one plant is lagging but the other 3 are picking up the slack soon it will be clone time its still to early to go out on a limb & say im happy with this strain as i have to be honest with my evaluation here but things are looking up here is todays pics

i did another round of training today & this time i tied some limbs down using bamboo skewers & jute twine later on ill cut the twine & the plant will stay as ive trained it [i hope] theyre developing branches some of which ill use for clones & some ill prune as well before i flip the light to 12/12

24 hrs later & theyre responding i just gave them their first full growth feeding tonight as they appear a little hungry to me in another week im gonna clone

Interesting training method. Looking good so far, interested to see how this strain turns out... I'm in the market for some new genetics myself

at this point i would call it more of a training experiment but i think its gonna work out im hoping im gonna have my first successful kush grow the finished product is gonna tell the story & im hoping for a happy ending thanks for your interest in my grow

im hoping my new growth darkens up a bit as i kicked the nutes up a notch been conservative a little on the food as this seems to be a light feeder

I used to do similar training to you, I would use 8 branches to make a star shape and let the buds grow up looks sexy. Now I mainline less work! Better results imo.

Interesting to here your comments on rp. I've always thought they produce a quality product. So if your all saying it's not very ogkush what would we be looking for In a 100% ogkush from America. E.g thin 5 fingered leafs, golf ball buds. etc....I know the difference between indica and sativa....... and has anyone any recommendations for seeds that they belive are the closest to o.g going.

E.g blue dream clone only in USA, we don't have access to in UK closest we get is dna blue dream or HSO, the hso version reporting in to be nothing like the USA clone.
