I just wait to see something I'd like to grow, then set my price point, then I contact the breeder to see how much they cost, then buy,if in my price range.

I dont mind paying a little extra since you can always clone them.
i agree with Padawan 100%. Get the best you can find/afford. I'm always preaching about how good JBC is but their genetics are all good. Most other seed banks have crappy genetics mixed in, just so they have the selection. With JBC everything is going to be at a certain quality level. Also The Potcast has some great opinions on strains from the people that have bred them. My advice regarding price: if you spend top dollar on something, clone the crap out of em and you'll get your money's worth. Even the thousand dollar cuts people are making money off of, so dont worry about money just get what you want. And for picking a strain sometimes it is nice to go with a popular consistent plant, or a cross. e.g. GG4 or a cross.

I don't either, it's just been unnecessary thus far. Last year a friend of mine got pregnant and shut her grow down for a year, she gave me 3 seeds she had called massive creations .. some of the best stuff I've ever smoked, let alone grown..I looked em up, like 50$ for 10 pack of regs.

I like James bean, placed many orders over the years..but he don't sell high priced seeds, what's his most expensive pack? 165$ for 16 beans?

I looked, the priciest I could find was a DJ short for 20$ a bean. Still not expensive IMO

I've seen ten packs for 500$ ..that's expensive

james bean is seeds here now right? Price gouging isnt cool. Some people have the money to just get the cut, but everything comes from a seed. Searching for that special plant is awesome. So far my favorite buy(except bohdi, his prices are awesome too) is AK bean brains from JBC. 60 bucks for a 10 pack of pre 95 genetics, 5 akbb freebies, then 5 extra freebies, + a ten percent discount for roll it up peeps "RIU10". that's a lot of seeds for the price! Searching for gems is what it's all about.

do your research first. find out who tests stuff and runs numbers so you'll get stable, quality genetics. most of the hype strains are just the same things crossed to new hybrids. og, chem, glue, sour d, cookies, etc. after I got too many of those, I started on stuff that wasn't related to those. old school stuff and narrow leaf sativas
