raw genetics

I'm growing out a Caramel Apple Crisp (Apple Fritter x Burnt Toast) that should be finishing in the next two weeks. I'll post some pictures and keep you updated. It's my first grow from their gear.
What's it smell like and what's it like compared to other stuff you've run?

She was a slow vegging plant without much stretch, stayed short and squatty. Opened up and took training easily letting in light nicely. Node spacing was great and everything seems very dense. Smells like fruit up front with a trashy background (enjoyable trashy). No gas or chemical type aromas. Seems to be a long flowering plant, day 90 from flip, 79 from signs of flower. Not the most resinous plant in my experience. Amber trichs are present at about 5%. Will be down soon and I'll give you all the details. Again, this was one seed and the only one of their gear I've seen grown.

My local seed shop is out of stock from top breeders.

I seen Raw genetics but had never heard of them. I overlooked them because i had a bad experience with purple city genetics, and nearly bought elev8 runtz before I read a thread on here.

I thought after that I’d use seed breeders I was familiar with, but it seems raw have a good reputation.

All the seeds in the shop are french toast or strawberry fritter crosses.

Im leaning towards biscotti pie or peanut butter pie.

Has anyone grown or smoked either?

The French toast crosses are nice but I'd stick with an og mom if possible.

I'd assume the strawberry fritter is good as well going by the French toast cross I've grown. Not a huge fan of biscotti, really uninspiring stuff. Generic strong weed high imo.

The only og cross they have is g code. I think that is a subzero og male crossed with Georgia pie.

They all seem to have georgia pie or strawberry fritter mums.

Choosing beans these days is hard work.

I was speaking of the French Toast crosses. I'd pass on the FT crosses available but looks like you couldn't go wrong with the strawberry fritter crosses.

Why would you avoid the french toast crosses? I was unsure on strawberry fritter because I’ve never come across it before.

Well, the FT crosses, outside of the toasted Brulee, aren't anything I'd grow and the results would be all over the place if you did. Fruit-gas crosses have fire within but its a real hunt. If you're gonna pop the whole pack and know what you're looking for before you do, go for it.

I'm more comfortable recommending fruit-fruit as you're more likely to find what you're expecting.

Thanks for the advice. I might rethink my plans. I tend to prefer gassy strains at the moment.

Smoked a lot of zkittlez recently and nothing has come over from Cali for around 3 weeks.

The toasted brulee would be pretty gassy. The Paris OG is a tad fruity, less OG... if any... than you'd expect, but the face off and cookies would balance that out towards a favorable outcome.
