Purple Stems On The Leaves

All my plants have purple stems on the leaves at this point. They look totally healthy besides that. Not sure how to resolve the issue or if it is not even big deal. Just don’t want to negatively impact yield. Any advice?

I have 3 different strains in one Tent right now and one has very red stems. There asleep or I'd send a pic. I've found that more times than not it's genetics. I've never had it screw up a plant. I started growing in the black soil of Iowa when I was 15, in 1975. Your good.

It looks fine. Mine did that too and had great smoke and harvests. Its usually from the LED lights. Its like how our skin pigmentation changes to protect from the sun. Especially people living near the equator. Sometimes you can notice the tops of the stems are reddish purple and underneath its still green. Also can be related to the strain genetics too.

Turns out it's in the genetics of Vushnu Kush. It's drying right now. I'm guessing 4oz harvest being conservative.

I wouldn't worry. Me nepali has red/purple petioles and the chemdog beside it doesn't. As long as their looking happy I wouldn't stress

The newer leaves start with green petioles, but as they inch out the portion in the light turns purple. It's cool to watch.

I can flip the leaves over and the bottom will turn purple to match. I have noticed the bluer the spectrum, the more the purple/Red comes out. This board is all 4000k with 16x660nm and four 410nm diodes. My other warm 3500k board doesn't seem to trigger the same strains as much. This could be complete speculation though.

Beside genetics , I believe I have read it can be a reaction to UV light exposure, not necessarily a bad thing as long as everything looks good-
100%

I've noticed the distinct suntan lines when removing painters tape from stems.

The difference is stark

If I can find a pic I'll add it but the area under the tape is the "original" green color and the areas not covered by the tape turned purple over time.

I growing Zowahh strain, started under LED'S (full spectrum, for veg and flower) cos it has more blue light than ordinary hps. After a week I separated plants, half of them in the tent under HPS another half stayed under LED'S. I've noticed that stems turned purple in the beginning. Under HPS plant colour back to normal green with minor purple colour. Under LED'S turned even more purple....So what does the LED'S actually do to the plant? I keep 24/28c° RH 60/70 PH 6.0 I thought lights to intense so turned down to the minimum but after few days no difference...Zowahh its a purple strain,I thought that's genetics plying role, but now I see the difference....
