This isn’t a one n done kinda thing , you need to keep on it after you think it’s fixed .
I use 3 types of bugs & nematodes
Lady bugs , pirate bugs , can’t think of the other one.
I’d have mantis’ too but I can’t get them atm.

Or spray spainosad .
A lot of people are rating products with that spinosad in it, captain jacks to be precise but I also found another product with it in called Monterey spray or something like that.
Just curious any idea why this spinosad is so good ?
Thanks for your reply

neoseiulus californicus and amblyseius cucumeris.

Watch a couple of episodes of Cannacribs on YouTube if you want to see what the bug boys are doing for IPM.

IPM is management, not one treatment and your okay. You need a preventative plan
They look like the right names , I couldn’t member the Latin names

Thrips are pussies compared to two spotted mites. Spinosad will wipe out thrips but it's bad for bees and fish, careful.

If you think that you've killed them then introduce your sachets and let the good boys do their thing. They'll kinda hang out in the shadows until food comes around.

It works really well because it will kill them from contact or indigestion, it also kills both stages that will be above ground . It attacks the nervous system.
But use with Nems , or you’ll just have to keep treating as they emerge.

Ok so there living in the soil too the spray spinosad kills all above soil and the new predator mites kill the hatchlings that emerge?

Spinosad will take care of the bugs above ground , the nems will take care of them below ground.

Don’t need the bugs if you want to spray .

The thrips live in the plants n drop their eggs in the medium. Once the larva is ready they come up to feed on leaves .

If you don’t change something in your room, they will keep coming back.
Look into how they got there , n how to pervent it down the road. If you can’t seal things up better or be cleaner. Then figure out a preventative maintenance program.

Understood thanks for the reply I completely agree it’s a bit hard to keep my little shed clear of bugs so I think I’m gonna have to spray then introduce predators to stay for good. What are nems ?

I just stumbled on a killer YouTube video while trimming. Apparently I had searched for vids on Stratios mites at one point so I just clicked and let it play. I just got schooled something fierce.

I'm gonna watch it again with a notepad. I've heard about Zerotol, Venerate, and Grandevo, and have used BT, essential oils, Actinovate blah blah, but she goes on about other bacteria, fungus and nematodes, and mite types etc that I know very little about. It's worth the time to watch!

Nice! My only source of bugs getting in is my soil and using compost but that’s the cost I should switch to coco to limit the bugs but luckily a good IPM keeps me still in soil sometimes the harder work pays off

Good plan,
I’m going to take a stab in the dark n say you live in the UK. You’ll have to look for a company that sells bugs in your area, you wouldn’t want to order from where I do.
Don’t waste your time with stuff like this . C55763DD-6312-4446-B810-956FAC4315DA.png
