POWERBALL $500 MILLION!

I honestly hope the prize is split up. Even if it's shared by 10 people taking the cash out and taxes we are talking several 10's of millions of dollars. I think I could easily retire and live a kick ass life on "just" a million. Because I'm conservative like that. Anyway. At the end of the day, 10 tickets costs about the same as a gram of top shelf. Many of us save that cost every day. And it's fun to dream. Good luck to us all in 2016! Peace and love!
Sweet. I didn't buy a ticket yesterday so now the money is mine. All mine.

Thanks. Fortunately I did manage to swing a $20 on my own so, guess I will get 10 more quick picks to go along with my standard single number for 10 draws. If it don't hit this time tho? I may just back off and let my 1 number for 10 draws carry all the weight.

A little of my personal experience.

I wasn't real happy when they raised the powerball price from $1 to $2 per ticket. I mean to me this is not an investment it's just a game of chance with low odds. I think it was October 2015 when they changed the structure of the numbers and put out new slips. The odds increased from like 1 n 175 million to 1 n 292 mill with the new structure. OK. So now we have the highest pay out ever? Well no shit.....

Now this is just me. But, I would be happy if the tickets were still a dollar. And the odds were still 1 n 175 million or whatever. Sure, just maybe the payout would go down significantly. To let's just say an average of like $30 million after taxes and whatever. As opposed to several hundreds of millions after taxes.

But, now let's look at just how powerful the publicity of this 100s of millions of dollars payout to a billion dollar plus payout is. Long lines of people waiting to get tickets. Traffic congestion on the roads where players frequent to buy and lack of parking. I've seen it with my own eyes as well as tv. I've seen on the news that people who usually don't play the lotto are buying tickets. I started this thread just a week ago when it had just crossed over the 500 million dollar mark. Now it's triple that. I think it's a little on the ridiculous side. But, it works perfectly the way the masterminds want it too. And I just can't help but make sure I am in it to win it.

Anyway. It's all good. Yes I will throw another $20 at it. But, I really think this whole powerball thing has gone from just being a fun game of what if/chance and gotten a little on greedy side. Yet. It works.

Have a good day folks.

Ok, this is kind of strange.
Took my tickets in and ended up with 18 bucks in winnings.
So I asked for 20 bucks worth of quick pics, and these are the tickets, remember in my earlier post I had mentioned that I hit the #13 three times?
The number 13 is suppose to be bad luck??/ Right!
Christ, are the powers that be trying to tell me something?
Oh well, good luck to all you guys
