If you’re like me and you put your pots in a garden with decent earth underneath, then more important than pot size is the holes size you’re gonna drill under them. Drill big holes, as many as you can. That way your roots will extend to their maximum and not be limited to your pots.
So why even have pots at all, you ask? Good question. It’s simple, really. Until the roots reach the bottom, you can move the pots freely. This is good when it rains a lot or until you find the best spot for each strain.
