Posting profile updates with pics?

Hi if someone can help I was wondering if there is a way to post a pic in my profile update. I would like to be able to show a current pics without starting a new thread...or is that the only way? For example - I don't have a grow journal but I was going to update that I'm cutting down 2 more plants today and would like to post pics of it. What's the best way to go about this. Thanks for any help.
