Plant in mid veg turning purple

I noticed right under one of my leds purple is spreading out from the veins on the leaves. The leaves that are under the cfls are not purple at all. Could this be an led issue?
See how purple is spreading out from the veins, edges and tips? This is the only part of the plant under an led the rest of the plant get cfl light and they are nice and green. My led is 8 inches away from the middle foliage.

Here is the rest of the plant. It looks weird because I just tied down some stems to the screen. It also seems as if the leaves are not growing towards the led but more towards the cfls.

Still having mg deficiency and now I have phosphorus deficiency.... fuck me. I guess you have to feed cannabis a lot during veg because I know I've used plenty of npk in my soil.
Phosphorus deficiency

magnesium deficiency. Ive been battling mg the whole grow. Time to start Epsom salts again.

Should i just start flower?

How often are you watering and at what PH?

I would get them a little healthier before you flower. Better to find out what you're doing wrong now before it hurts your yield.

Cheap-China LED maybe? Or the led is good, and could be the start of a Phosphorus Def.
Does high temperature affect nutrient uptake because my grow room stays hot all the time. I'm talking 85-92 degrees during day and lows 80's at night. The outdoor temperatures are 90-106.

I water every other day when the top cm of soil is dry. Ph is neutral 7.0.

Those airpots look cool. What size are they, how many gallons? IMO, add some perlite to soil next time, for better drainage. Pick up the container, and it should be really light before you water again. 2 inches (7 cm) dry on top next time you water. Roots need O2, so let them dry out. When I veg, I water every 5-6 days. More often during flower though. Unless the plant tells you it needs water sooner (it will start wilting), but will perk right back up the next day, after you water.

Thanks They are 2.2-3 gallons I'm not quite sure. I have a batch of soil cooking right now with a lot of perlite added to it which is what I will use next time.

Its a highly reviewed led on amazon i think i just put it to close maybe or could be phosphorus.
I don't know. Some of those "highly reviewed Amazon LED's" are bogus. Read all the "1 ratings" first. Check out this one..... http://www.amazon.com/Apollo-Horticulture-GL100LED-Spectrum-Growing/dp/B00FGG1HDM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435370036&sr=8-1&keywords=apollo led
Read the 8% "one star" ratings, even though it got 4 stars average. Complaints are that the plant didn't grow (you said plant is heading towards the cfl's instead), and one thought the 5 star ratings were bogus. Rows of lights are out after 3-6 months, etc.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Could be just a very delicate strain. Wish you luck! She'll pull through, I bet. You going to HPS for flower? I did one gallon pots (6 of them) this round, and didn't like it. Going back to 3 gallon (4 of them) instead. I only have 2X2 feet to work with.

Yea I was looking at the Apollo but it looks to similar to all the other leds like galaxy hydro and king and I didn't want to buy an led that was copied from another company(not saying it is copied). That's why I picked Taotronics because they are a legit company that makes plenty of other light products.

I cant use hps because exhaust isn't an option for me. That's why I'm going full leds even with the cfls my closet gets too hot :(. I think the led was just to close because the company says it should be at least 1 foot away from the plants. I hope this grow works out otherwise I'm gonna start growing tomatoes indoors again.

Adjust your PH. I think soil is like 6.2 or something, you may be getting nutrient lockout.

I think I'm gonna do some foliage sprays cuse they seem to help. I was told to not worry about ph much from a lot of growers though so I dont know. How would I go about lowering the ph?

Who exactly? I don't run soil but I know PH is important in DWC because plants don't uptake certain nutrients at different PH levels.

All your nutrient deficiencies maybe due to pH lockout, i cant stress how important pHing is even in soil grows. Anything less then 6.5 and your locking out phosphorus, magnesium, and calcium and due to what your saying that your having a phosphorus and magnesium deficiency im willing to bet your soil is too acidic. People say 6.5 is the magic number, me personally i like to keep my pH around 6.6... But im happy with 6.5-6.7.
