Plant health and how often to fertilize

Hi,
I have bought some fertilizer in the form of pellets. I decided to dissolve this in water and use that way.
I have only used it twice but do not really know how frequently to do so.

How does the plants look in general? What yield can I expect for an outdoor grow, is 20 - 25 liter pots enough? Spring started in September and these have been planted around middle September.

I have also topped the plants a few times and removed inner growth on lower branches

Looks good overall! I don't grow outdoors but I generally feed every other watering. I don't really know what you're using and how to guide you there but I would for sure not add slow release directly to the medium. You did the right thing IMO by adding it to water.
Yield I can't speak to because it's too early but your vessel is plenty big, could be bigger for outside from what I've seen but should work fine.
If it were me and from the sounds of grow season where you are(I assume southern hemisphere) I would just work in evening it out, tie it down some starting with the tallest branches and try to keep the canopy even. But that's just how I roll.
Is this your first grow?

This is my first grow yes. I really want to tie them down I want to increase the light exposure as much as possible. And get lateral growth. I was thinking of tieing the branches down to the bucket, but that would only work so many times, whereas I assume with a screen/grid you can ensure the plant never exceeds a certain height.?

Yes but not necessarily. You usually end up with a couple branches that want to out grow the others no matter what. The way I go about it is to tie and screen and then tie down additionally as needed. You can also use a clip/clamp to tie down to the bucket and when you go to tie down again just readjust and tie to the same clips. Once a branch has been tied down awhile it just grows that way so it's not like they fling all over the place when you readjust.
If I could grow outdoors I would grow in the biggest thing I could find. Probably build a grow box. I'd also start with a plant that I started inside before the outdoor season began. Sigh... Haha jealousy aside looks good. Good luck with it!

Yea I read some places that you need 100 liter minimum. Other people tell me they get Great results with 20 - 40 liter. So I'll really just have to find out for myself, after all I dont plan on repotting because I'll probably do more damage than good.

But that's a great idea, the clamps! Thanks. Awesome stuff I will keep up to date and post some when they're ready.
