perrenial harvest degradation..?

has anyone had hands on(not read somewhere) experience with multiple regeneration degradation after so many harvests? I'd like to keep mine going over the winter, and start out next year with massive root systems...I once saw a pic in high times of a TREE in nepal, shading a patio! I'm sure it's less efficient than sea of green, but that's not the point.I just want to hear from someone who knows...do they really lose quality?

you grow outdoors in the SC mtns? you have any problems with night-time temps? i just planted outdoors and experienced some serious transplant shock.

After 3 re-gens max, the plant will start mutant growth, harvest will diminish, etc . . . clone it.
At least that's been my repeated experience. Twice is all I bother with anymore.

I know nothing about it, but I do know plants in Nepal and North India by the Himalayas usually never get harvested the way we do it, they harvest the resin only and make charas(hand rubbed hash from alive plants) and they get like 3-4 rubs a year off of the plants. Im not sure if the first rub is the best charas or not, we got any world travelers/hash experts here?

teah...they need to be hardened off... these cool nights by the coast mimick the climate of much higher ranges. my 1st. kahuna is so purple, she's slate! the purpling is definitely some afghan coldass high altitude defense mechanism...whether it makes the weed better? not sure....

yeah I figured there had to be a reason...otherwise everyone would have huge plants!

I'm gonna' do it, because I'm more into the art than trying to make money...my big thing is not having to pay others, or support a criminal element...besides, I'd like to see how ayr. old root system gets a leg up on new weed for next year's season.. I already have cuttings under the hood. maybe next year the sgt. will be a torpiary!

I would love to be able to keep a plant going over winter...
