check out my journal guys, yeah i got one of them CO2 rigs, not as expensive as you think, but well worth the investment in a larger grow area

I'll have a flick through that when I get a chance! when I have a proper space to grow in I'll consider the CO2 business and just do one hardcore massive grow for posterity
Yes that was my first thought aswell..but the black ones are deeper? Someone said to me once on this site that rather go for deeper the wider pots? But I also thought the bigger ones..cool thanks! And another question, I have 200w in my signature grow, but I can only fit 2x65w daylight cfl in there..that won't to it for 2 weeks veg and then 12/12 in a scrog right? Or will that be enough?
Deeper is better because of how MJ root systems grow, but in such a small area it wont make much difference... If I were you, I'd get some 5litre Water bottles and cut them down to the right height, move your screen up a good few inches, measure about 7-10 inches from the lights and put it there, so long as your veg is just enough to fill the screen when you switch to flower the buds shouldn't touch the lights and being CFL's you can get quite close to them. This will also give you space for bigger pots.
Consider hempy pots, basically a bottle/bucket without drainage holes in the bottom, instead you cut a drainage hole about 1-2 inches above the base of the pot/bottle/bucket
so a little reservoir pools in the bottom of the pot and drains out once it gets to a certain level, this is a very simple passive hydroponic setup and is tried and true, also very easy to maintain with next to no problems with the plant.
just switched over from reading your thread.
(incase you dint know.. im subbed there also. -- not stalkin i swear.. lol)
# of plants your growing will determine your minimum watts of lights to use.
ive read that 100w minimum per plant and 50w per additional plants after.
(with some exception of the micro/pc grows i believe)
2x65(true watts) daylights should be plenty for 1 plant vegging
2x65(true watts) 2700k should be used for flowering.
keep in mind:
5000k-6500k daylights - vegging
2700k - flowering
you can also do a mix/full spectrum of 3:1 ratio.
Something like that
though I go by the philosophy of, as much light as can be controlled (temperature wise) in the cab, so if you have a bad ass ventilation system you can up the wattage... Like my cab, that is tiny but will soon be a 400w HPS or 500w LED setup.
Stay Frosty!
