outdoor plants

hi guys i live in oz now my qustion is we are gunna have a heat wave here the next 7 dayz with temps starting today at 37 then 38, 41.42 40,40,36 c now i was wondering do use think i should shad cloth my outdoors wen it hits the 40c mark or should i get shade clothing now ?

If they are in the ground it wont be a problem ,they will love it , iv had temps up to 47 and theyve been fine.
If in pots you could run into some trouble

they were in the ground lost about 15% of the plant to major leaf burn from the sun but she is ok just cut the burnt bits off she is booming again

Hey Rob!
I'm also growing my plants outdoor, It's a shame yours are not in Pots because that way you could at least move them to partial shade and give them tons of water.

Here's what I would do, Go down to your local shitty Asian 2 dollar store and find some material that looked like it will do the trick. Get some pegs and some chopsticks/BBQ skewers and give those babies some cover.
Also is they're not that big in size, What I did was I got a water cooler tank and cut the bottom off and used it to create a mini greenhouse for my plant during the heatwave.

hey hey guys thnx for the wikked replys i just let them go in the sun i lost alot of fans leaves due to the weather but being about 4 weeks now they started to bud and all the burnt leaf just droped off and they are going crazer then ever

boognbudz yes we did get bushfires we have 3 rolling atm one in vic one in w.a its a big one and one just out from were i am gah
