outdoor grow in south east london

Hi all

Need a bit of help, I have a cheese plant growing outdoors, and wondered does anyone know when they will start to flower? I've been told natural light will be short enough to kick start them in about September. Is that right?
Cheese takes about 9 weeks to flower and that will take me up to possibly 1st week of November, won't the frost be a threat by then?
At the moment its looking great, but would be gutted if all this comes to nothing!!!

Cheers

idk for sure for ur region i live in new york state and for us it starts early to mid august and i dnt think south east london is to far of from that on the latitude lines but i could be wrong, r u seeing pistils yet? if so urs should begin flowering in a couple weeks, i think ur best bet would be to tlk to local growers and see when theres start budding
