Organic Grow w/ A Chem Booster

Ive been reading up a bit on organic growing and despite me not being able to get any guano i have been looking into fish emulsion, blood and bone meals and that's pretty much where Im gonna start. The thing is, Ive heard yield is not as good with organics compared to chems. My plan was to use organics all the way to week 4 of flower then give it a 1/2 strength dose of chemical flower nutes as a booster becuz from what I understand, with 8 week strains, week 4 is when the plant feeds the most. The plan is to feed chems at week 4 then only water until the end of week six which is when Ill give bone meal tea. Then finish with mollases and water. What I need to know is (1) Does MG Organic have micro-bacteria that I should be aware of (2) Will these chems kill that benificial bacteria.

MG Organic doesn't contain any beneficial bactria or myco fungi. If you are using all organic and then switching to chems in the fourth week of flower you will do a lot of harm to your plants and soil. It will kill off most (if not the entire) micro population that you had started in your soil, your plants will stress from the "direct" feedings (as opposed from the symbotic relationship that it had with the fungi & bactria) and could see a much longer flowering time. Wouldn't recommend doing this as it seems counter-productive to what you are trying to accomplish with organics. I understand the reason is for bigger yeilds, but I dont know. I don't think all that work into getting a diverse and thriving micropopulation is worth destorying for a couple extra grams. Feeding it the tea after you do the chems is a good idea, but it will take months before you start to see thriving microbeasties in the soil again. You have just killed them all and made the soil toxic after you put the synth nutes in it.

I have to agree with the other replies, why kill everything that you just worked so hard to do? either organics or nonorganic there really is no inbetween. Good Luck and think about it somemore....:joint::mrgreen:

I agree with what others have stated but wanted to add that guano is ubercheap. I bought a kilo of bloom bat guano this morning for 15 bucks shipped. It's hard to beat. Good stuff.

I know guano is cheap, but i would have to find it somewhere local. Im sure its somewhere, just gotta look. Thanx for all the advice boys. Defiantly wont be adding the chems then. Would love to find some myco bacteria too.

is that u in that pic??
Of course we have home depot...and mexicans...to many if u ask me....LOL,JK. I went to home depot site and did a "shop locally" option or whatever wher put in your zip code. Kelloggs came up as "not sold in this store". Then I searched in the surrounding towns and cities...nothing. Trust me, I looked for Kellogs primarily because They had one that had "benificial bacteria". And no, thats not me in the pic. Thats Crystal Clear, BBW Porn star.
What can I say, I like'em Chunky.
