Opinions on Spider farmer LED lights?

Hello, is anyone here using spider farmer led lights? I was wondering if this light (SF2000) would be enough for 4 auto plants in a 3x3 tent. I have a 400w HPS light now, should i expect same or worse results? Thanks

There's pros and cons.

It says 200w power consumption but shows a 240w driver so should be around 260w. Personally I would prefer 300w for 3x3 and the two board set up isn't ideal for light spread and is better suited to 2x4ft space.
That said it will work and with autos been on longer light hours will still get the dli for good results.
I would say it will beat the 400 hps on output but not on light spread, that's not the be all and end all though.

Do check it comes with the 240w driver shown in the pics though, if it really is 200w then I wouldn't buy it.

Imo in square tents your better with two twin board set ups . If they do a set up with xlg 150 driver on a twin board then I would get two of those, but I'm not that familiar with spider farmers range.

I just unboxed and plugged in my new SF7000 last night and it almost blinded me!! I bent over and flipped the switch and the lights were right in my eyes. I would get the larger one to make sure you get a good harvest.

So i Highly recommend you spring for the se3000, its growing some frosty frost gg autos over at my place right now. daisey chainable.......dimable.....quality parts....and you can use in a super limited space with all the headroom youd gain over the heat you dont radiate like the SF series...Im serious, I have seen some grow diaries where they are a mere 10" from the top of the plant....in late flower. perfect for 3x3

This light is identical in every way down to drivers and the LEDs type and reds and IRs to the SF 4000 for only 219 w coupon. Prolly made in same factory lol. Here’s a pic of light and some of what’s under it. I got bunch from them including their 200 watt version but they jacked the price. Just dim it you will not come close to the value. BLOOMSPECT SS4000 LED Grow Light,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088FKV8CX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Meh, No name, No support, and look at that spread on the ppfd, its super centered......BLEH...spider farmer se3000 smashes that coverage with 100w less.... Bar setup ftw, se3000 blows that coverage out of the water, and someone from spider farmer will reply to you if your shit breaks.

Pics don’t lie. Its 200 bucks and nothing more is needed fir a 3x3 room. I got full refund from these no names and Amazon will honor their warranty. Of course the bar style is the best but you have to look at return on investment. At the moment in a 3x3 it’s the 200 dollar QB style all day. After a year when you’ve made it back many times over look at the bar style as the prices will be way down. So yeah feel free to be a baller tho.

Yeah if you can I would go for SF’s bar series lights, I liked the sf4000 board, but I think the bars would work better.

there’s a lot more out there than just spiderfarmer though.

if you follow the best deals thread, I just got a 400w light for about $100. There out there! I expect no support for this light, and you get what you pay for generally. Just make sure to do plenty of homework before pulling the trigger on a light.

Did you just say pics from China don't lie? Ever check inside those cases? Check every diode? ......allllrighty then...anyways, IMO dont' buy the no name no support, ive dealt with SF, they were easy to get ahold of and handled my situation fast....and you got full refund for what? Junk light? lol... Trust me OP, don't buy that crap, for 3x3 bar style FTW.... If you want support and some peace of mind......if you dont mind, like Milky said, they're out there, to gamble on....All I can say is... ive been down the no name route, it was a trash product under the guise of good namebrands......and I got literally no reply from the company.. No Money back. Spider Farmer will at least be there....I'd pay 100$ all day for a better product with a better spectrum and a better spread of light.... and some support....Oh and Se3000 have removable driver..... So you can put that heat outside your tent.....and you dont have to worry about crap heatsinks with crap glue holding it all together

just my 2c. GOODLUCK!

My dad is KILLING it with his SF 2000. I have to admit his results are better than mine under a Mars TSW 2000.

Great light. They keep getting cheaper and cheaper.

I did put the LEDs under a 40x and they are legit Samsung LM301B. And I had a knock-off go bad, not that one, and I got 100% refund.
But I will eat crow. The SE 3000 looks superior to anything out there in that price point. It’s a newcomer and the market is evolving rapidly.

So I would recommend that light fir a 3x3 as a single fixture. The QB style works best with multi units to get the cross over from adjacent lights. That said one could make the case for QB in large rooms with several units.

I mean one quick scan under Amazons "watch list" ....(you know the next possible 300 Chinese companies which make fake comments about thier own items....)....and They're on it.. Not to mention... you even look at the negative feedbacks? Stories of not real samsung diodes, pulling the cases off the meanwells... and its no name guts....lights out in a week or two.... fuckkkk that, se3000 ftw or if u want cheaper option sf2000...but for 20-30$ more depending on your coupon situation....you could have 100 more watts and the superior design, trust me I had QB and Ive had bar... Nothing but heat issues with QB.... the diodes are amazing... its that one huge heatsink design... im sure you can figure out... but I just wanted to throw some praise to this SF bar style... its been much easier to live with. Much cooler. and if i ever wanted another, i can chain them together. and the thing is noticably brighter than the 200 watter I had before... Have a good weekend y'all

Its gotta be nuts, I turned on my little baby se3000 and off quickly and my girlfriend yelled from downstairs ... "is that lightning" I been seeing good reviews on sf7000 and se 7000, does yours come with samsung diodes?

LOL!! The manual says they are Seoul 3030C. I would prefer the SE7000, but I won it, and it'll do great.
some speak pretty highly of the seoul, after some research

ViparSpectra owns bloomspect. I've see good and bad reviews on both and the same with sf and mars. It's gonna be like Toyota or Honda or hyundai ect. ect.
