Starecase.

Next grow, please spread the branches a little longer before the nets go up. Thank you.

In my previous SCROG's, the branches were spread to about 6" beyond the perimeter of the buckets and a few weeks after that the nets would go up.

I think it was just a spell of complete laziness - most likely a lingering after effect from all the amazing Maritime seafood the couple of weeks before - but this time I only spread the branches to the perimeter of the buckets. I now know that the nets get filled more evenly with the branches are spread outwards past the perimeter of the buckets.

Call this one of those unintentional failed experiments.

... Two weeks of stretch you might be pleasantly surprised ...
You got that right Sister! :D And even with those empty spaces in the nets, I am still expecting north of 1 lb. when it's all fully cured.

I am going to let the branches grow up about 4" - 6" before they go under 12/12 cause I have some support trellis this time. Under the COB's, I am hoping to see some D.D.'s leaning against that nylon.
... I might have missed it ... What strain ya got going ? ...
I have two - both Barney's Farm. The first plant is the Blue Cheese - Blueberry crossed with U.K. Cheese - and the second plant is the Red Diesel - N.Y. Diesel crossed with Cali Orange Bud.

They check all the boxes. They are not hard plants to grow, they both yield well and give me and my ilk a great stone.

Who could ask for anything more ...

Over these past two+ weeks, I had no real progress to report. It would have been more pictures of plants being spread laterally which is as uneventful as watching grass grow. ( * searches for appropriate face palm ... * )

But despite the bad pun above, Google Calendar just let me know that things are changing. Gimme a few minutes ...

Stretching appears to be slowing down considerably. Maybe they will go up another 1" or so.

In a little over 1 week we go under with the trimmers and lollipop.

And while we are at it, meet the kinder:

They are still under 46 watts of Cool White CFL's. Later this afternoon, I am going to spark up the BSpec then give them a couple of days under the QB's to adjust to the beefed up light intensity.
