interesting ,it certainly would get the humidity levels up but to what end?

would like to see more replies to this.

well, i don't know the temp of steam, but it is hot enough to burn skin easily.. i would be concerned it may damage the thc.. if it wouldn't damage it due to heat, i would think adding moisture like that would greatly increase your chances of mold/bud rot...
i can not think of anything positive that would come out of steaming a plant.. again, think extreme heat.. the plant doesn't like the temps raising above 100 degrees (water boils at 212 degrees so the steam would have to be AT LEAST that hot.. probably hotter)... doubt it would enjoy being steamed.. lol

I knew a guy that steamed his weed before he sold it. (it weighed it down to be heavier so he could charge more)

Sold to the wrong guy that made sure he never did that again.

Vic's vaporizers have a steam guard that reduces the temp of the steam coming out to safe levels so that it could not harm a baby. Personally I would not use it unless you had extremely dry air. Too much humidity causes plenty of problems itself, molds, fungus, bacteria.

That's exactly what I use if my humidity gets too low from the heater. No problems with it for me but I have it a few feet away and not pointed at them, just muggs up the room a bit when it needs it. =)

why do you want to do it? do you have extremely low humidity? And definately don't do it during flower. No need to make the environment more nurturing for mold..
