I checked and didn't notice any of them open but not sure?? this has never happened to me before , what are the chances that they opened in a couple days of appearing? please guys honest responds how long does male pods to pollinate a couple days or more?

During my last grow, I had a branch with sacks also. I (very carefully) pinched them off and that was that. No pollination and no seed production. Now if you have an entire branch full of them, I would carefully put a plastic bag over it (to isolate any pollen) and then snip the entire branch from the main stem. Of course, if the plant is full of sacks, your course of action is to get that plant out of there. Maybe cover the whole thing in a trash bag or whatever and take it out. Once the sacks open, they dont close up again later. If none are open then they havent yet opened so do your damage control. Once they open I would imagine your fan would disperse that pollen pretty quickly and then its too late to save them. Good Luck

yeah I freaked out and got rid of the plant it looked stress anyway and the other 2 girls look great but spotting those pod this mourning has ruined my day all I could think about was can they just produce pollen in a couple of days?

usually you will see the yellow stuff when it's done the dirty deed
not a guarantee, but you sound like you are good
this doesn't help now, but you can spray/mist with water before touching
the pollen won't travel wet, and it dies very fast from wetness

@ mannyonelove, any updates? I ask because I am currently going through the same issue with my moby dick which had been vegged for 40 days and is now at week 4 and a half into flower. My dehumidifier however gave off a green light which I now fixed, as a results I think produced the nanner that I removed. Earlier during the flowering cycle the room got to hot. I have 2 400 watt hps in the room, one running a mh bulb and the other hps the top got burnt because the lights were underestimated and were placed closer than 12 inches, i have adjusted that also. The top of the cola of the burnt bud has buds growing around it now but that part of it is hard and brown. Should I pull her because of the nanner or keep her going and see what happens???? I really don't want to seeing all the energy and time put into it but if I have to i will because doesn't it only now focus on seed production and no longer resin or calyxes??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is important to take precautions when you find either a male or a hermie in amongst your girls. In addition to spraying the entire plant down with a light bleach solution you should then take a large garbage bag an carefully put it over the entire plant including the pot and then remove it from the area. Pollen grains are microscopic and travel on the slightest of air currents, it's natures way. :) If you see yellow then you have a major problem as millions of grains are loose in your garden. Good Luck :weed:
