Glad to see another distiller here, but your hydrometer is incorrect, or you aren't removing forshots, and have a decent amount of methanol in there from fermented pectins.. You cannot distill past 95.58% abv without a desicant, or something to break the azeotropic limit.. Its kind of wierd because that much ethanol in water boils at about 0.2°C lower than ethanol alone.. The irony of this is, if you boil a still dry, the last drop with be ethanol..
