Not Topping Question

Hello I have read and understand that topping can provide more growth/flowers but have limited space (2 x 2.5 grow tent) so I guess I just want to keep it simple and not top/cut/sog etc.. for my my plants. The strain is Strawberry Kush. How much bud do you think I can achieve not topping with an 600watt LED panel? I think it is wall rated @ like 286 actual watts.. am I really losing a lot of bud by not topping? Also it is just easier when harvest time comes to clean/trim the buds. So I like that advantage but was hoping I would not be losing too much by not doing it..

This is all grower skill, how well your space is dialed in and a host of other variables. You’ll end up with some weed in the end probably not what your expecting but those blurple leds will only do so much. At best you can end up with 200 grams or so at the other end nothing. However if you make it to the end with something youll be hooked and want to up your game.

All comes down to skill. With practice I took a shitty LED and got quality bud, 10 oz from 4 plants best yet or roughly 1.05g per watt with similar wattage to you but they were plurble.

Obviously topping will increase yields so YES not topping will harvest less bud lol but do LST and SCROG to help make up for it.

Edit: I don’t think you can get an exact figure just by guessing the future. If you do one run and do another with the same variables they may be similar. But there are so many factors mang. Even genetics. You have a strain but it depends on the supplier too, different suppliers are more expensive for the same strain, some people say it’s BS, I believe you get what you pay for in my experience, but at the same time, I’ve seen very great grows with random bag seed.

Best advice - stop trying to predict and just raise the plant with proper care and love and that’ll get you started in the right direction.
