Not getting an l e d stretch ?

Hi first time using led lights always used hps in the past but noticed the buds being produced by l e d look far superior to hps .... only problem I’m coming against is I’m not really getting the same kind of stretch with an led compared to the hps ? the height just isn’t there ? the nodes are stacking nice just not much distance between them ... Anyone got any ideas or useful ways to combat this ?

Temps are 76 lights off 85 lights on
Grown in coco coir
Ph between 5.8 - 6.3
Cx horticulture line up base nutes
Maxi crop seaweed extract
Canna calmag

crocketts family farms - sour banana sherbet reg x2
Barneys farm - blue gelato 41 fem x2
Royal queen seeds - special kush #1 fem x1
Critical cheese auto free x1

its an auto, they dont need 12/12, they will flower undre 18/6 or 24/0 they wont streach, they just flower as they grow

There’s only one auto in the mix .... it’s the fems and regs that ain’t stretching much

Only problem I got is I want to fill out the canopy and the rate of growth at the moment it’s Gna be a while

oh right, how long into 22/12 are you? its got 2 weeks to streach

More red will help, the tsl2000 have a bit much blue for me, weighted towards blue = shoter node space, more red like say 3000 Kelvin will help counteract.

I’m not on 12 12 I mean stretch as in normal veg growth I need to fill the space 75% before flipping into flower or I’m wasting space

you can try to lower the light intensity.

If you can veg longer and keep the tight node spacing..... Veg longer...

Welcome to LED growing
where the stretch is less and it takes longer to veg but there is nothing wrong with short fat plants as long as you fill the tent with numbers to accommodate your need
Add a couple more plants

I’m just hoping the quality is there to make up for the extra time

I’m hoping it is it’s a 3 month veg then another two months to go they’re around a month from seed

Hps is no comparison to leds, stretch from ir in hps not good for girls.canopy will double first three weeks of 12-12

I’m hoping this I’m going to have to fill the canopy somewhat tho .... today was a good day the first of the four regs I have has shown sex and she is a girl so I’m thinking now to take some cuttings off her and maybe use them to make the space less of a space to fill with a few extras in there .... just hope the sour banana sherbet is a good yielder

Is this a male pre flower ? I’ve never sexed a male only ever bought fems and know what to look for in female I don’t wanna sling it for it to be a girl

Why not use both and get the best of both worlds, Hps to fill and stretch it then onto led?
Personally I've absolutely no love for super compact growth outside my clone tent, I actually want some stretch!
