Night humidity lower than day

I have two 10x10 tents set up the same way. I just started flowering and during lights on my humidity is higher than it is when the lights are off. Like 50-55 lights off and 60-65 lights on. Isnt it suppose to be the other way around.

I have an 8 inch exhaust fan and just have two flaps open on bottom of tent for passive intake. Maybe it’s not enough air flow I’m going to try a bigger passive intake

U got a humidity control?
No I don’t. I have a dri eaz revolution dehu outside of the tent and it has a built it humidity controller. I keep the room outside the tent at 45 humidity through the dri eaz but the tent stays high. Make me think there isn’t enough airflow? I mean each tent has a 8 inch hurricane exhaust fan and two 16 inch oscillating wall mount fans.

I’m also thinking about possibly putting the dehumidifier inside the tent instead and plug it into my titan controller so it’s only ran during lights on when I have humidity above 60

How big is the air Intake?

The day/night difference depends somewhat on the weather as well...

Try the dehumidifier in the tent for a day....
I just have two of the ones open that are built into the 10x10 gorilla grow tent.I just have two of the ones open that are built into the 10x10 gorilla grow tent.

I think I am going to try that. Ever since I started cooling the night temps to 68-70, and watering with 68 degree water, so I have been having an issue keeping it hot in the tent. With the room temp at 80 and 4 hlg 550s on 100% power I am at like 80-82 degrees when I am pretty sure with quantum boards you wanna be around 85.

Don't complain about that. Most people have trouble controlling night humidity. You want low humidity during lights out.

No but come late flower you day humidity could be a problem. Dehumidifier or extraction fan on a humidity controller, get one that does day and night settings if you do
I am extracting 24/7. Not doing co2 or anything. I have my extraction fan plugged into a speed controller but it’s turned all the way up and it’s still not enough so I might just put the dehumidifiers inside the tents and see how that goes but only run them when the lights are on because I don’t have issues with lights out.

That would be my next move
