Newbie LED stealth Grow, Whatcha think?

Well, after years of research, I'm starting my first real hydro attempt. Going to try using the led tech as it's the future, runs cool, and wont kill my power bill. And HT mag reported it works great. I'm planning on getting the growpanel from sunshinesystems, makers of the UFO GlowPanel is supposed to replace a 75W HPS. Iam only looking to do 2 plants, enclosed in a self-made box with a simple hydro system and maybe do a scrog to keep the height down (I want the box at 3feet) Wondering if that will be enough light, in a mylar-or tinfoil lined box. If not there is always the GlowPanel45 which is a 27watt Rated to replace a 250w hps. Although thats 3x more expensive. Should I supplement with a couple CFL's and get theGlowPanel, or push out the cash for the Panel45, its $50 vs $150, but rateings are 75wHPS VS 250wHPS. I know the UFO 90watt would be way overkill for my needs. Infrared choppers in my area, HPS is not an option. Also Power consumption is monitored. Thanks And a Big HELLO!:dunce:

You're gonna need more space for vertical. 3 feet is okay but you'll find yourself in a crowded situation. I tried it once and was not satisfied so I went ahead and dedicated an entire end of my closed to the girls. I'm much happier and they are MUCH happier. Hope this helps. Oh and I run the UFO 90 watt and it's not overkill at all. Just right if you ask me. Throw in a couple cfls and BAM low heat, low watt monster!

Hi and welcome to RIU, man I think your WAY paranoid about police chopers, they have to have a warrant to invade your privacy and they aren'y going to see a small HPS that you would need for 2 plants. Electric wouldn't be that bad either, you say your electric is monitored, by who?
You aren't growin in your parents home are ya?

They have them in every state, more used for meth labs than weed labs, but still yet have a big operation and you have a worry.

Infrared doesn't see into your house, it only sees the heat that's transferred to the outside walls. Even a 400W HPS is not that noticeable where you'd get busted by a chopper unless you're growing in an uninsulated attic. That light looks cheesy, I would go with an UFO, as they are way more reputable.

Ahh.. didn't see that. Maybe threads should auto lock after a certain amount of time, so nobody bumps old crap like this.
