Hello everyone I'm Joe, just wanted to do a quick intro. I'm fairly new, only two pheno grows under my belt and decided to venture into Auto territory Lol. I grow in soil as it's a little more forgiving from what I hear, Using a 50/50 Ocean Forest and Happy Frog blend with dolomite at a tbsp per gallon and perlite at 20%. Nutrients on this will be Dutch Pro Auto Bloom, Multi Total and Take Root. Was also planning on adding some Calmag and Protect Silica at .5 tbsp per gallon. I plan on using a res irrigation system with air stone a on timer for feeding, just have to dial it in as of now. ANYONE willing to maybe shoot some pointers or advice feel free and I'm pretty new to Autos, but I feel ready just need to pull the trigger lol. Thanks in advance AverageJoe

I myself and on my second grow ad decided to give the autos a shot! My strains: auto critical, auto assasain, and auto blue. Just don't feed them before 2weeks they burn easily and take long to recover which isn't good since there lifespan is usually 2-3 months, also you shouldn't stress it out to much by topping or unessasary trimming, they can flower under 24hr light which helps keep node spacing closer...

Hey all, Auto's are in a race to finish from the moment they pop. I don't recommend topping at all, or cloning it slows them way down, and in my opinion effects yield. A lot of people like to put the babies into their final pot to begin with, if you do that with the soil you have it will be to hot for them. Start them in some starting mix that has no nutrients to it, then when you up pot them give them the soil mix you planned and let them bitches grow. I personally only give my babies kelp juice water, until they have around 4 nodes then I up pot and give them a good feeding, from underneath. I recommend 20/4 schedule, it gives them time to rest each day. Try and let them dry out completely in between watering, they like to dry out, but they should take well to weekly feedings until the last 2 weeks, then flush dont flush thats up to you. Peace, Be Safe MD.

Awesome advice, THANKS, I was thinking about starting in Rapid Rooter plug and then intbaghe soil after some growth you think maybe the plug in some light warrior for a week or two then the soil? I have a bag of these plugs and want to use them up. I was planning on the 20/4 lights to lest them rest a while, OH AND FYI if it helps here my first choices Lol. Thanks again for the advise I LOVE THIS PLACE EVERYONE SO FAR IS AWESOME!

Welcome aboard we love new people to talk with! I use those all the time to clone with, and pop seeds too. Make sure they stay moist but not soaking wet, then when you see roots coming out the bottom, pop it into soil and bury them up to the first set of true leaves. Lot's of good light, and airflow plenty of airflow. Good looking choices there, if you start up soon you'll have Christmas or New Years bud! Peace, Be safe MD.

Sweet yeah I've heard good things about them and figured I'd give em a shot. And I think I have pretty good air flow, any pointers there? I open that window and draw fresh air from the inline fan on the right side.

There is a trick I used to use, I would take velcro and roll up the bottom corner, secure it with the velcro, and put a box fan in front of the bottom corner of the tent to pull in bigger amounts of air. If your temps are good with what ya got then your golden. MD.

Make sure your light on the nutes. I still haven't learned lol.
Thanks, I've actually heard no nutes but I want these things to boom and I've seen huge plants with the right regime. I'm gonna go like 1/8 strength on the 2nd week of flower nothing up til then, and possibly increase if it looks like they can take it. As I'm only doing 6 at a time I'm gonna do 2 dark devils 2 bloody skunks and 2 trainwreck seeing how they are all about the same start to finish, thanks again!
