You want "cool white" for veg (around 5000k) and "warm white" (around 2700k which you have) for flower

i use daylights with brights, and then daylights with softs. use Y splitters to give the canopy light from the sides of the bulbs, and close as can be without touching. and what's this "rusted socket" business? use safe equipment, keep it clean, orderly, and dry. light, water, air, warmth..........PH!! happy gardening

i changed the light socket that was bad was using it in the garage for years was just bad. should i veg at all or go straight 12/12 they can only be about 2ft high tops.

you should deff use more lights i do a 3:1 Ratio and i still belive that thats not enough. and yes if your height restrictions are 3 feet you should really skip veg and do 12/12 from seed because in 1 month your outa space without a dought... and i might be wrong but the 3700k part of the spectum does little or nothing for your plants ya im right just looked it up in the notes 3500k-4000k emit little light that is usefull to the plant best range for veg is 5000K-6500K and flower is 2700k i hope this helps good luck

i have 4 3500k in use w 2 2700k i will buy one more 65watt cfl but i also have 3 5000ks not in use i can change in and out. still sprouting my little girls should i put them right under light or is there a waiting period for sprouts going under lights? thanks for the help guys!

ive just grown this in 68 days straight flowering 12/12 ......2 plants that reached about a foot and a half and one was topped and the other one is finishing now which is this one View attachment 1979351as u can see tho not alot of bud but will do for someone like me lol this ones ready to harvest now as my pistil colours are the right colour for harvest but who recommends i chop it now without waiting for the compost to dry or take a risk and wait until it is dry then chop it?

my temps are gana be kinda low around 70 maybe lower outside the lights my plants are really turning purple even tho they r tinyis this going to be ok i cant control the temp due to cold weather and a 100 yr old house w a wood stove.
