New to growing autos, are things looking ok?

Hey everyone, so I'm almost 4 weeks in on a grow from seed. I believe it's purple Haze auto. Maybe GSC Auto. Not positive if I mixed up the sprouts in the beginning, but anyway, I have 6 100watt equivalent 6500k pigtail CFLs for veg in 3/3/2/1 (soil/peat/ vermiculite/perlite blend) in a 3gallon air pot. I did some lst trading just over a week ago and things are BUSHY. There are a couple of flowers at the second node from the top on the main stem, but nothing else. I was on a 24hr light cycle and just dialed it down to 18-6 to hopefully lengthen the stems out. Am I doing anything wrong so far or does everything look good? I know there is some leaf burn on the lower foliage. Juts got a fan so I hope that won't continue to happen.

Update, grow tent, led grow light and exhaust fan w/filter on the way. Should've started out with all of that from the get go, but something tells me I'm doing ok so far with those pigtails as it's bushy as hell right now; however, i do bring her outside a few days out of the week. Lots of flowers are starting to pop up too.

Had the lights real close with a fan blowing on the lights and top of the plant. Still close to burning the tips though. I have since gone bigger as the plant has almost tripled in size.

Good to know! Im using CFLs in my wee grow box, and trying to control how height the plants will get by hanging them next to them instead of above, but looking at how yours has grown, maybe I should hang them above for a bit :)

Well, it finished flowering after 10 weeks. Got 85 grams, buds were very airy, but AMAZING. Some of the best smoke I've ever had.
Well the bud looked like it had a ways to go at 8.5 weeks so I suspect you pulled it a bit early but I’m glad it turned out to be great smoke

Yea, was a bit spindly, but I had to pick some due to most of the trichs being cloudy.

I'm actually on my third crop. White widow and Blue Dream photos. Both in Coco and each under their own light. Last one was a Purple Haze Auto and was really dense. Ran into some bud rot and it stunted it a bit so yield was very low. My screw up for not having a fan in the tent. Hoping for big things this go around.

Ventilation is key my friend!! I had bud rot on both my first harvested outdoor as wel as indoor that hampered yields. Now I have a fan that could pop the tent like a balloon if I turned it on max lol (maybe not literally but damn close). I use a combination of pistils and trichs to determine harvest for mine, because if she’s still pushing pistils she is still making bud. Number one thing is that it was good smoke though!!
