I just wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions

I'm about to make a start on my first grow and just wanted to see if there was anything else i need or should be considering before starting i have researched a lot over recent months and dont know if i have done to much and started confusing myself

i'm running

1.2x1.2 x.2.2 green qube

600w dimable ballast now running a 400w

5" rhino filter kit

4" intake

sms comm twin fan controller

ph meter

ppm meter (still needed) i was planning on running H&G's 5&9 schedule from there site could i skip the ppm meter?

Homemade dwc 15 ltr buckets with lids cut out to hold 7" baskets, to the bottom of the basket these hold 10 ltrs with a 2"-3" gap between the solution and the basket these hold 8 ltrs will these be big enough.

Welcome and good luck with your future of growing! Lots and Lots of experts here too...not me but I seen a couple! I will offer a money saving tip when it comes time to replenish some bottles....PH Down, White Distilled Vinegar is my go to for all my growing organic/synth and its cheap as balls! PH Up..I use DynaGro Pro-Tekt it spikes the water when needed. I'm a fan of Epsom Salts too in place of calimagic...just some examples, and there are billions you'll learn..
