I got some new equipment from a friend so I am in the process of adding it to my two 600's. I use a DIY DWC/Ebb and flow hydro set up in 5 gallon buckets. I got a ton of stuff listed below. The diagram below is how I am thinking of laying out the room, ventilation and co2. The flower room is 7x11, and there is a separate veg room and another storage/cloning room, that leads out to the rest of the basement which is nice and cool in the winter, and pretty cool in the summer. This is the first I will be running co2, so the room will be sealed. I might need to add AC to the flower room in the summer. I plan to run the co2 a few times a day. I have some extra 4" fans to bring in cool air if needed when co2 isnt running. I will have a 6" fan and filter in the room scrubbing the air every hour or two. I got a CAP air4 controller, but i dont think i will be needing it, i plan to just use timers for the fans and co2 and heater for the night time.
I am looking for any advice or critiques on my thoughts so far. Some notes are: I will have the co2 coming of small hose above the canopy, I need to heat at night to avoid a 15-20 degree temp swing, I figure my daytime temps will be around 80 max during the winter with no ac, and no lower than 70 at night. this is a cold room.
1000w DIgital hps/mh with 8" hood
400 watt hps with 4" hood
two 8" fans
8" filter
6"fan and filter
two 4" fans and filters
three 4-bulb t5's
co2 tank and regulator
CAP Air-4 Controller
A bunch of timers, ducting and misc...
