Just for shits I let my plants get bone dry, I mean they're so dry that I can literally take them by the stem and pluck the entire plant right out of the pot. The point is that they've turned the most beautiful dark green since I've let them go bone dry. I'm going to water them tonight because the leaf stems are drooping and obviously they want some water but the colour difference since letting them go bone dry is amazing.

The water was about 6.8 on strips and 8.5 on drops but 8.5 is as high as drops go so it mighta been a bit higher. This plant got the worst of it. Btw the burn on the edges of the fan leaf has been there for weeks so it's not really an issue, it only happened on the one plant and only to the 2 leafs. The next time that I water I'm going to make sure it's about 8.0 on drops and around 6.0 on strips and see what the results are after. Eventually I will get the perfect PH; probably kill a few leafs in the process but small price to pay in order to not do any further damage afterwards. Also I'm now keeping a log for when I water my plants, with nutes or without, what the ph is, exact time and date of watering .etc. I know I shoulda done that off the bat but I was being lazy.
