Hello all,

I currently have a 1K watt HPS and MH light and want to get another light so I can make my grow bigger. Does anyone have this light here? or have any opinons. Heres a link.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DIAMOND-1200W-Powerful-Full-Spectrum-LED-Grow-Light-Panel-For-Flowering-Plants-/111634472064?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19fdeedc80

If the link does not work, its called diamond 1200 Watt Full Spectrum LED lights on ebay.

My question is this, IDC about name brand stuff, because most stuff comes from china anyways, what would be wrong with these lights if I got them? Truthfully I won an auction on these for 340$, and do not know if I am going to pay and get them. I have 3 days left but want opinions. Do you guys think this will be any good? or do you think its a scam in the sense its not FULL SPECTRUM???

Thanks so much you guys!!!

If you want to add an extra light and have it be led then I wouldn't buy that. The good LEDs out there are expensive. If you can afford it look into Apache tech or Area 51. You can buy a big light from Apache or a few smaller lights from area 51. Most likely you'll have have to get yourself another 1000w hps light

What exactly makes it "crap"? and i saw a deal that i assumed was legit. And the guy has auctions every day for the same light.
It uses inefficient LEDs. For the money you'd get more light and less heat with a CMH or T5HO.

But, for $100 you'll get your money's worth. It wouldn't be a huge mistake like paying $500 for a rebranded Chinese import (Lush, Kind, HydroGrowLED, Platinum, GrowBlu, BlackDog).

For Chinese epi-whatever lights Vipar(eBay) is often recommended as the best of the worst. I think TopLED/MarsHydro would be a good choice simply because they have a public support forum on 420mag (more likely problems will be resolved compared to dealing with an unknown person through email). I doubt there's much difference between those two and what you're looking at.

If I were going to buy a Chinese epi-whatever light, I'd go with what others have used and found to be at least useable.

But, honestly, if you're going to do that, I'd just do CMH for tall growing spaces, T5HO or Cree LED "lightbulbs" from Home Depot for a short space.
