Who told me thid? I am shocked! Obviously you have not done much reading about growing and cultivating plants. I learned this information back in the 80's. I will tell you who told me. Somebody that knows a lot more about growing than you or I. Mel Frank. If that is not good enough for you, again, you are obviously a beginner.

Here is one of two books. This one is from the 80's. The other book I have by him was published in the 70's.
View attachment 3210547

I have also read the same information in other books and magazines. Have you ever read a good reputable book about marijuana written by a reputable author or do you only use information via google and wikipedia? Please enlighten me.

Edit: I purchased the book pictured at Hash Bash Ann Arbor, MI in 1989
OMG Myth, lore and hidden knowledge is not it,

This is straight up Botany. Mel Frank or Cervantes are not Gods, just hippies with very little science education. I find so much wrong in those, especially about cloning and withholding Nitrogen. Just Old Saws, passed on.

The old world has been superseded by Botanical Science.

Too bad my thread got hijacked by thread trolls. I was planning on sharing more experience, upcoming test comparisons, and whatnot. Oh well.

.

Hey Growie, don't be like that. There are so many trolls we can't own the threads. So, get past that and keep with the experiments posting.

Ignore the black hearts, they have no power.

The research gathered in writing the books was gathered from the highest credible research available for that time. Traveling around the world and gathering the information is a bit higher than some old hippie with no experience.

I find no credibility in your comment. I wonder, have you ever actually read the books front to back? If no, then do some research before commenting.

Smack talk is exactly why I have no more to offer. It seems like the facts and quality information is shunned. The most sad part is the need to start pissing contests. People are shitting on quality information that can actually help the sick because their ego is too big. Which in turn makes it very difficult to the new reader to actually understand.

I am about helping people to serve my God.

Why should I post any new findings, quality information, and the like? Especially when it turns to arguing, bickering, and feeding the trolls?

I suppose I am just a dumb hippie too. I don't have a degree in botany. I am no master gardener. So, in your opinion, the fact that if I don't hold those credentials that any information I have to offer holds no value. Especially since I have admitted that Mel Frank has me beat on my growing knowledge.

I prefer to naturally "cure" or decarb the oil vs. the buds. Buds start degrading the second you cut them down, especially in CBD since they are not being replenished. CBDs are degrading the entire growth of the plant, but during the growth state they are replenishing faster than degrading. After the buds are dried, it is best to put it into an oil state as soon as possible if you want to preserve CBDs and other medicinal values of the marijuana plant.
That is what I do. Drying is de-carb. I dry the entire plant until it is "frangible." I have already pulled off the fans as I harvested. It makes it easier for me to strip the fans before I cut the stalk.

Then I just, pull strip, the stems into a big bowl. I crush that down by hand until I get to those tiny budlets that can't be easily pulled apart with my fingers....the ones BB size and smaller. I sieve those off and spin then in a coffee grinder.

I tried the Coffee grinder for the entire thing but that puts way too much chlorophyll into the BHO.

Yep. I see you take it all personally. That is trolling to me.

And so what if you wonder if I've have indeed read these history books from cover to cover? And I have, but...Who cares? You want the right fight it seems. Trolling.

LOL it is my thread! Trolling my own thread? Wow! That's a new one for me....

Whatever!

I am grown up. That is when I realized there is more to life than serving myself. Yes, I do love God and serve the best I can. One small example of what a Christian can do. http://michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/topic/41261-cancer-–-free-alternative-treatment-option/

Coincidentally, the patient began the treatment at Christmas, and was confirmed cancer free the following Easter....

Lol why are you so hostile... If u wanna go back up and re-read all the posts I don't see one troll and I don't see anyone saying your method is uselessand has no effect on the end product. On the other hand I don't see any posts from you attempting to explain how it works, because that would actually shut us up...
Your the one who started the debate by posting something you have very little understanding of and then attacking anyone who opposes your godly oil.
All I'm saying is everyone has the right to be skeptical if you don't provide enough facts pertaining to the subject and you don't have to act like your thread was derailed. Just continue with the posting if you really are about helping people, I actually do apologize if you thought I was trying to have a pissing contest because I was genuinely trying to help you understand.

Blunter, I am not accusing you of anything.

Hostile, yes, I was offended near the beginning. First, I was a little frustrated that I wasted about 1.5 hours trying to post the information I intended to.

One of the first comments I receive is "didn't bother to read, just wanted to post" I found that offensive due to some history with that poster.

The comment a couple above, calling me names, you don't consider that trolling?

Yes, I am all about helping people. I have been doing so most of the morning. Every day I speak with cancer patients and answer their questions. Every day, I take the time to answer to the best of my abilities. Most of these people are desperate.
Many of these people report back to me that they are very confused because of issues that arise like they have in this thread. Going off topic, misleading information, conflicting information, arguing and bickering over petty issues instead of contributing. One example: maybe QK could have taken the time to contribute of the benefits of naturally decarbing instead of being offensive and only touting about his method. Yes, I should have ignored it, but I was frustrated at that time.

Keep in mind, I post at many different sites, and there are times when things can be very frustrating, repetitive, and overwhelming. Emotions can take over reason, it is a human condition.

I am reasonable, here is the last piece of information I have to offer to this thread which I have found to be most interesting and potentially helpful:
Terpenoid Education.jpg

being told that I am a part of the Christian war cult is quite offensive to me, juvenile, and most inappropriate.

This is what I am referring to Blunter, about confusing people. Then I have to explain it in PM later, many times at other sites.

Yes, drying is a form of decarbing. However, that is not a complete component decarb. We are talking about decarbing THCa to THC. Simply drying buds is not going to accomplish this. It takes a minimum of 90 days to achieve a full natural decarb whether it is in bud form or oil form.

From having read so many books on the subject, it would seem that the basics of decarbing THC would be obvious. to Doer. If that is his idea of decarbed oil, then I must assume that he has not had truly decarbed oil.

Honestly speaking, with the naturally decarbed sap I made, even the RSO, one drop over medicates me for 24 hours. I have to dilute it. Some patients can handle a couple drops or so and others just can't handle it period.

Just saying....

GG, keep posting. We all choose how to, or whether, to react to posts. Just always know that you don't know who all is reading.

As someone who can't grasp science, GG has been of huge help to me. As someone who worked in food for years, I could never get the food scientists. But the chefs made sense. GG is the chef type.
