... Ever wondered if you would've gotten more of a yield if you would've used a different light? ...or if you would've squeezed a few more under there?
...I often ask myself those questions...so, I decided to run an experiment w/ plant #'s and bulb differences. Here's what I've got:
...I have 4 lights, all 600 w HPS. 2 of the bulbs are Optilume, and 2 of the bulbs are Lumatek.
...I have 20 Trainwreck ladies under an Optilume bulbView attachment 1123420
...and 16 Trainwreck ladies under a Lumatek bulb.View attachment 1123421
...I have 20 Bluecheese ladies under a Lumatek bulb
...and 16 Bluecheese ladies under an Optilume bulb.
The Trainwreck Harvest
16 ladies under the Lumatek = 2,235 grams wet
20 ladies under the Optilume = 2,191 grams wet

....as you see, I got more of a yield from the 16 plant table under the Lumatek than I did from the 20 plant table under the Optilume. Looks like less plants can be more...now to conclude if the bulb was responsible for the yield difference.
I'll finish my Bluecheese harvest tomorrow for the final results. They're set up just the opposite for an accurate conclusion.
