so I should be closing on my new house in a few weeks. with Michigan's weather getting a bit colder day by day, im wondering whats the best method for moving my girls? ill have girls in flower as well as veg. my light cycle is at night (5pm-11am and 7pm-7am). I was thinking of moving them at night to lessen the risk of a light getting to them. I was going to go the put them in a garbage bag to conceal them while moving them. I should only interrupt their light cycle by an hr maby 1.5 hrs tops. my other concern is the temperatures. ill be using a uhaul type of moving van. im also moving 10 to 15 mins away from my current location. the van is not cargo heated and evening/night temps are about 38-45*. so the cold temps worry me the most.

thanks everyone

Walmart recycling lawn bags. The big paper ones. Try not to interupt the dark cycle. You should check the MSP guidelines. Stay paranoid 3x ;)

thanks everyone, and lmao @ actont. maby you don't grow or have patients that depend on the meds you do grow. i however do. but thanks for your overly "paranoid" thoughts. im hoping i can time my current flowering plants and harvest them during the move and only move my recently flipped veg to flower plants.

if it's only going to be that short a time period, the black trash bag is fine. temps not low enough to be a problem. good luck with the new house!:)

PARANOID MUCH??? Answer: YEP! paranoia coincides with freedom and not being busted. you don't get arrested for being paranoid you get arrested for the opposite of paranoid. I moved 18 plants all in different phases including 1 week from harvest in January in Michigan no problem. papersack if it fit, garbage bag if they were too big and 99% of that was for prying eyes not temps.

thanks C&T

they will see little of the outside world. bagged in the basement, upstairs, into garage and then into moving van. repeat 12x ( or 5x if I harvest). then in reverse order at new place.

Should be good Demon. If anything I'd be more concerned with them slip-sliding around in the back of the moving van and possibly getting damaged. Maybe someone could ride shotgun in the back.

ill have some moving boxes as a back stop, then use my 2 tents (broke down of course), to sandwich the pots snugly. ill be using a 25' moving van of sorts. the gilrs will be last in and first out.

Better read the MSP guidelines for moving plants if u want to stay legal beagle.
12" plant max and no one but the person allowed to possess the plants in the vehicle, are a couple I recall.
