Mount for Clip-On fan?

Alright so my clip-on fans are causing seams to rip on corner of tent. The tiny amount of pressure is too much for my $180 tent, haha.

Anyone here devised a homemade "mount" that keeps the clip/pressure off your Mylar?

I'd rather not spend $25 on etsy for some 3d printed junk plastic.

What about one of those flexible snake looking things people use for mounting go pros and other small electronics? Not really sure never used clip ons. But man that tent of yours lol

I just leave a oscillating fan on one side of my tent, and have a 20inch industrial air circulator on the other side pointed at the floor on low. I dont see the need for clip ons that hardly move air

Mine are hanging by rachet cables...so I can raise and lower them at will. The Honeywell 6" fans have bases with mounting holes so it was super easy to get it set up.
Ok I tried that once. Full disclosure, I'm a computer person & not good with even basic handyman/engineering stuff. I am getting better thanks to this hobby. Anyway, after hanging from ratchet.. over the course of several minutes the fan would start swinging all around. Can you show me a picture of how you secure it with ratchet cable?

Yea I plan on getting an oscillating tower fan eventually.

Cool so you just hang one on one-side & have it blow across cool. How high do you hang it above canopy?
I have two, one on each end. The fans can angle up and down, and raise and lower them. I can also adjust along the poles they're mounted to, which angles across the tent in different ways.

If I have bigger plants I can lower one below the canopy and have one above, or I can use one to blow across my LEDs.
