Mixing super soil

Ok so everywhere I've read says to mix super soil in a tarp or some form of open container then store it in sealed containers to cook turning it now and again. My question is can I mix soil in a compost tumbler and let it sit to cook and just roll it over every week. I think the tumbler has aeration holes would I need to block these off or will airflow help the cause
Cheers

I just keep mine in a shell shaped kiddie pool, the lid is not air tight but works fine. I actually thought of buying one myself I think it would work fine.

Am made in 250 liter plastic bucket.. always made mix with too much nutes.. but flushing in beggining
of ciclus with cold water since i sees orange liquid stops to go out of pots was always work for me
very well and then things become very stabile and PH is perfect.. am sees by plants how they
explode... if i dont flush then they start to twist their branches in one side,b this sign i know
am overeacted with nutes so i need to flush no matter is organic.. no matter i overeact with
organic nutes i never burned them and its easy to made things back in balance with flush..

I dont turn mine supersoil.. have bunch of worms that do this job for me as i feed them with Kelp
in flakes..

"Sealed" container?
I just use 55 gal garbage tote's. Not exactly air tight. They work fine. Mix in a cement mixer.

You should be good to go.

30 gallons at a time, 30%-60% used, mixed at least 4 weeks ahead of use and store it in 30 gallon tote and turn between it and another every few days for about 2 weeks.
