Oaksterdam and Harborside were most likely not being operated in a "dodgy" way, but even if they were, it is not up to the federal government to enforce state laws.

That is indeed a bullshit response from Obama... I like it better than Mitt wanting to "fight it tooth and nail"... but not near as much as Gary Johnson's "Yes"
Marijuana is not an issue to be taken up by mitt romney or anyone in government,,,,where there is money there is corruption...i heard a gentleman on one of these pot shows saying that marijuana brings in the other drugs,,,like meth,,,,heroin,,,,crack and others,,, do they really think the american people are that ignorant?? We have a failed drug war of over 50 years to prove this is bs..marijuana is here to stay,,,with or without government say so,,,,and let us not use children as a stepping stone as the cause and effect of the marijuana problems in this country..,,,,it is time we all wake up to a strong reality....the marijuana issue is ours and only ours..and only we can take it where it is going..the government is trying to make us think it is their option...which it isn't...it is time we all ban together as 1..

Some might wonder why IRS agents are running around in commando gear raiding peaceful pot dispensaries, but to those familiar with the movement, the IRS’s involvement in shutting down peaceful voluntary businesses such as Oaksterdam goes back a long long ways.
Back before the Supreme Court decided that the federal state could regulate any and all aspects of human behavior, the federal state was limited in the amount of harm it could cause society. The courts ruled that the federal state could not directly declare various voluntary interactions to be illegal on a whim. Instead, the courts limited the federal state to using taxes as a weapon of mass destruction against the public, which is how marijuana prohibition came about. Remember, it took a Constitutional amendment to make the production of drinking alcohol a crime, which shows you just how far the court has veered from its past role as a defender of human rights.

dispensaries are still not legal here by state law, but i could stop at any number of dispensaries.
