Mistaken russet mites for nutrient burn?? Help

So I originally thought I did a nutrient burn on my plants and stopped spraying and just watered. I was wrong, after freaking out today and researching I am positive it's russet mites. I hand sprayed all plants with doctor zymes. These plants are still inside in vegetation stage. Should I do anything else to prevent mites or just spray every 2-3 days.

When I treated for spider mites, the plants always took a hit and suffered. I used a product called "Bang" to get the leaves back in better health.

spray like crazy... these guys are brutal... make sure theyre gone before you start flowering, at which point it will be too late to use some of the rougher pesticides, which unfortunately in my experience was the only way to save a bad infestation...

I'm pretty sure I caught it in time.. there's only some plants and there not to bad... I'm doing the doctor zymes spray which we did by hand and also a soil soak. So I'm hoping they will be ok cause here in four weeks they will be ready to plant outside I'm hoping.

Yes I have done this before. When I thought it was nutrient burn I stopped spraying also thinking maybe the lights were burning the leafs when we sprayed them. But yesterday when I started looking I found the leafs were getting worse.. got out the magnifying glass and some of the plants have bugs on them. When looking at pictures online I found one that resembles my plant and the bugs I found. So unfortunately I wish I was crazy and it wasn't mites.

I dont have any experience with the doctor zymes products... says it does combat russet mites so that is good. In my experience a single product, no matter how effective generally wont work. The russet mites move, adapt, and reproduce quickly, so spraying twice within a 48 hour period is important. "Nuke Em" from flying skull is real effective at killing these, I would rotate that into your spray routine...

Also... what you are going through is exactly how i discovered them as well. I thought my mothers were burned, so i backed off the nutes and backed off spraying them... which made things much worse. Those pics look very similar to my veg plants when I grabbed my scope and found the problem was the mites....

I'm wondering why you are so sure it's mites...........it looks more like a deficiency of some type. You may have a mite problem too, but it does not look like any mite issue I've seen before- and I've seen a ton of them. Mites would leave dots on the leaves, which I don't see.

I agree with the above post- Nuke Em is a good product, better than most and can be used throughout flowering too. Mighty Wash gets a lot of good reports too.

Lastly, it appears you are watering too much as a number of leaves have the classic clawing, a sure sign of over watering. The more I look at your pic's, the more I'm sure you are having some kind of deficiency.

thats what I thought too... trust me, these "rust" mites are like no other... you CANNOT see them with a naked eye... but these are the exact symptoms they cause, not white dots or anything like they, they are attacking on a microscopic level. If you've found any of them under a scope or magnifying glass (whitish wigglers with 4 legs up front) then they for sure are the majority problem.

I still think youre crazy

I think youre out of control w the garden hose...... need to get that cord out of the puddle

Woody you have your opinion and I appreciate it.. as far as out of control.. I don't think watering my plants is out of control. I have never added anything but cal-mag once besides the 707 mix I planted them in. The spray we use is good for alot of things. Lol about the cord really it's not like the connections are in the water. This site is suppose to be for people looking for help and you want to down grade people. Maybe down grading people is what makes you feel better about yourself :)
SSHZ the plants do have the white spots on the leafs may not show on these ones but they do. That and the fact that when turning leafs over you can see them with the magnifying glass. I know I'm not a pro but hell I'm trying and appreciate the help.

Really cause I've taken a lot of advice from people on here. No where did I disagree with anyone or say they were wrong. Only thing you asked is if I have done this before and how could I be sure. Yes I grew a good crop last year and like I said I'm no pro. I have issues and questions like anyone else but I was never rude to you!!! My question was what else could I use and I am gonna take the advise from the members above.

I'm anxious to see how that works out for you...... I've been there tho and its not bugs

Feel free to think I'm a rude asshole but you're wrong and spraying more won't help....... Your plants are suffering from grower error

Ok so I may be a little crazy, maybe not russet mites. I'm guessing spider mites? But here are more photos of front and back of leaves with the magnifying glass. Believe me I'm not the type who just wants someone to agree with me. I was just asking for a little help on what to use.
