Maxsisun MF1000 - still top of line?

Hey there. I haven' bought an LED grow light for a couple years. A few years ago, I did a ton of research, and ended up buying three Maxsisum MF1000s. I remember they didn't use the ultra top of the line LEDs, but one step back, but they used more of them (as they are cheaper) and drove each one with slightly less power to match or exceed (in theory) the efficiency of the competing boards. I love them. The remote controller they have, the dimming, the way you can plug one into another daisy-chain to minimize cords.

Well, I want to buy another LED light. How have times changed? Are they still top of the line? Or have new LED models (from them or from other brands) supplanted them? Any recommendations? I might want to get bigger lights this time, a step up from the size of the MF1000. But that all depends on pricing.

Anyone? Weird, Maxsisun doesn't appear to be very available any more, no one is talking about them, but I can't see where they went under or anything...

Try out horticultural lighting group
They have diy kits that save you a bit of money. I'd aim for a kit that has a driver that you can hook up a potentiometer for dimming. These drivers say AB on them if they're meanwell. I wish I had bought drivers I could add the potentiometers to because using the tiny screw to adjust the brightness is lame

Hey OG, did you find out anything else about this light per your initial posts? From you and anyone else, is this a good light that’s competitive with others of similar size? Thanks
