Maui Mowi ,Strawberry Kough, and Golden Goat 2000 Watt 4x4 tent RDWC legal grow

Setup is a six bucket system with a 40 gallon reservoir connected with 1/2 inch hose in a 4x4 Secret Jardin tent. Gravity feed for feed lines and a submerged pump for return line connected to the last two buckets in two series of three buckets.

2 1000 HPS Galaxy Grow amps on super lumen mode, supplemental t5 4 footers on two sides. Air cooled with a 800 inline fan. Intake is covered with a 600 inline fan and exhaust from both is vented into the attic with inline booster fan

One of the Reflectors is a Hydrofarm and the other is an 8 inch cool tube. I found the cool tubes are very nice for staying cool but are not the best reflectors.

3 Airpumps with 3 airstones per bucket and another two in the reservoir. Two Hydrofarm 8 port models and one Commercial model, around 2000 GPH of air in the system.

To control water temp I have an active aqua 1/10 HP water chiller that waterfalls back into reservoir for more aeration. Small Boy Filtration system as well, my water is good and RO is too much of a pain in the butt.

Blulab PH and EC pens along with full Botanicare KIND line along with all supplements. Bennies are key.



This is my first grow in about 5 years but I had grown for 10 years previously using DWC with moderate to great success. I have always had to go pretty cheap with my previous setups but I have around 3k in this 4x4 tent.

I am 3 1/2 weeks into flowering and the girls are happy and humming along. I started this whole grow with six plants as that was the limit for my roommate and myself. Two Maui Wowi, Two Strawberry Kough, 1 Golden Goat, and an AK-47 all purchased at our local rec shop.
After LST and topping the SK and MW they decided to take over the tent and forced me to kill the AK and squished the GG into the corner. Not the worst situation lol since I was truly worried about that many different strains in the same system. SK and WW seem to enjoy the same EC and nute schedule. The golden goat is definitely the runt of the litter.

At moment the girls are 5 feet up the tent after flowering stretch and drinking around 4 gallons every other day. EC and PH are staying very constant so only topping off with 1/4 strength nutes.

Temps constant around 75 degrees even with 2 1000 watt lights in this small 4x4, I have a air conditioner on standby for spring

Been waiting for the first mistake as I always seem to make one.. Light too close too a few tops and had some bleaching/burning going on. I have both lights pretty much maxed out for height now after moving them up about 6 inches. Pics inline of 4th week flowering, roots and my reservoir.

Well I overgrew the damn tent so had to convert the entire room today. Will post pics in the morning but they are doing better than I thought . Maui Waui's are looking very treelike.

2000watts in a 4x4 is way too much light....and i love it! lol blast those bitches. love the converted room as well, i just did a similar thing. happy growing!

Really need to change the name of the journal now everything is spread out now taking up most of a room. I used the frame from the tent and secured it to the ceiling using light ratchet hangers. Added another fan and removed intake from outside air as I had to raise the temperature in the room by closing all my other heat vents. Temps around 85 now and RH around 30 percent.

7th week flowering pics. colas looking good. Maui a bit behind the Strawberry Cough. Almost done, flushing with ph'd water and hoping both will finish around the same time.

Harvest has come and gone. Went about 9 1/2 weeks on all the girls. Harvest time based on trichome development. Total Dry Weight was 2 1/2 pounds from 4 big girls and about an ounce from the poor Golden Goat. A shame since it won 3rd at the Cup in Denver this year.
Next grow is waiting until after the summer with my boys

Maui Wowwi plants were the biggest I have ever grown indoors. One plant was a pound by itself.
