I've never heard of them but at their price I can get 2 Chinese made lights that size. Some of the Chinese lights are really good, Mars and Spider Farmer come to mind for quality bar led lights. The site didn't list efficacy numbers, it said coming soon. No real way to judge them without test data.

A lot of plugs sounding out / catching fire on the spider farmer , bad service , More neg. chatter on I.G. about them

I have been running one for about 4 months now and am really happy with it. I did win mine in a contest however so I don't have any money in it. The Spider Farmer tent I bought directly from them is one of the best tents I've owned. I don't know about fires with SF, I know Mars had some issues but I'm pretty sure they have changed connectors and are good now. I'll have to do some research on the fires to see which models and how they're shorting out for sure. Thanks for the heads up.

The one I just read about was the 7000 series, a $10 fix connector

That's the main thing that stresses me out about Chinese lights. Especially after seeing all the pics of fried connectors. Not worth it to me. I've already had a house fire. Thankfully we were home and my wife smelled it.

I'm sure there's more but I get your point, most are assembled in China using parts from all over.
I'm kind of concerned about Timber. I wouldn't purchase one right now until they decide if they are still in the game. I'll never forget how much @olivedrabgreen loved them. I hope he's doing ok. He got me interested in COBs.

Good Morning,

My name is Dan and I am with Highgrove Lighting, formerly Timber Grow Lights. We have reformed as a new company in order to differentiate from the original Timber business model of custom built lighting.

Due to the challenges of the supply chains over the past three years, we have reformulated our lineup to include board based lights for 2x4 to 5x5 areas. These lights are now waterproof with sealed electrical connections and conformal coating on the LEDs, and include both UV and far red spectra in addition to LM301H 3500K and 660 nM red diodes.

Our entire lineup is in stock for immediate shipping, eliminating the frustrating lead times. We are the same group of people, same level of customer service and happy to answer any questions you may have.

Have a good day.

Regards,
Dan

I thought Timber Rebranded?

Guess I'm wrong. Haven't spoken with him in a while. Just know that he had a solid business going before he started Timber.
