Mars Hydro grow journal TSW2000 "Red Dragon " in 3×3

For Contest Entry FC6500
My 1st indoor grow

Using Miracle-Gro potting soil in 5 gallon fabric pots.

Feed was plain tap water, every 2 weeks Miracle-Gro 24-8-16 plant food in veg.

Rotating Miracle-Gro 15-30-15, 24-8-16, and then plain water in flower.

Marshydro TSW1000 was used in "2.8 x 2.8 x 5" for seedling 2 weeks, then veg 2 weeks, 4 weeks total.

Then moved to "3 x 3" with Marshydro TSW2000, 4 more weeks veg.

From seed, middle of September 2020
Planted beginning of October 2020
Vegged for 65 days, flipped to 12/12 November 3rd 2020.

Currently at 44th day of flower, 12/12, light is 14" above canopy @ 100%.

Weekly update.

Removed LST tie downs and added bamboo support sticks as the buds are really starting to fatten up and were starting to fall to the side, also no need to have them tied down anymore with only about 2 weeks to go. The flowers are extremely resinous, just got on my fingers while tying the branches. Still not needing carbon filter yet, but Smells really nice on my fingers and is increasing daily. Will hook up filter by the weekend.

Also raised the light to 16" from highest top.

The TSW2000 is performing for my budget home grow exactly as expected.

I am so glad I picked this Red Dragon for my 1st attempt.

Weekly update, no real change, day 55 from flip, day 48 from showing. Buds continue to fatten, got a bit to go, new white pistils growth still happening.
Raised light to 18" and Started 12.5 dark / 11.5 light, 3 days ago. Continue to feed 3 day rotation 24-8-16, 15-30-15, then plain water. EC to 1.2, 8 cups water per day.

It's really interesting how different light can make it look good, bad, or just strange.

I like what I see. I've got 2 that are about 2-3 weeks into flower but theyare not in the contest. One has a scrog the other is just lst.

Weekly update
Day 62 (9 weeks) from flipping to 12/12

Still no amber trichs on buds, plus new pistols popping... maybe some foxtail? Definitely not from heat or light too close, as I moved light up to 20" and tent is open during day keeping temp at 25C and 25-30% RH.
Either way still a bit to go.

There is still little to no smell, but if you touch the trichs and get some on your fingers.... mmmmm smells so good, like a musky but sweet guava...

Really cool how the flower is getting dark now too.

Also light timer on 12:50 dark / 11:10 light as of today

These are the two I picked out of a random 5 pack of ACE premium Fem photo's. There was actually 6 in the pack lol, anyways I chose these and called the A1 & A2.

I never took any pics of the germination but I just put em in water in a cupboard until tap root, then planted them directly into those cups with the same Miracle-Gro moisture control soil I use throughout the entire grow.

A2 started off ok, but showed some deformity early on.

At this point I was using the TSW2000 in a 2.5x3x5 Vivosun tent.

Someone got chopped last night....

Next round set and ready to flip

Gave away all my other clones to friends,
Just keeping the two Red Dragons. Yea they were kept away from light to grow slow as I didn't have room until now. I expect them to explode now as I've got them in optimal condition for veg. Going to top soon as well, this time going to use skewers to keep the growth straight.

Final post, as there's zero chance for me to win this contest.
