Marijuana growers wanted

Hello,

My colleagues and I are doing a research study on marijuana cultivation. We’re really interested in collecting information about growing marijuana and would like to invite you to take part in the survey.
The survey asks questions about why you enter and leave the trade, your working groups and a little bit about your background and experience with growing. This study looks not only at individuals in North America but we also have similar surveys being conducted in Europe and Australia.

The survey is completely anonymous (your identity will not be known). We are not affiliated with any law enforcement agencies and no information you provide can be linked back to you (IPs are NOT collected).

The survey takes approx. 10 minutes to complete and can be found at: https://www.research.net/s/MGrowerSurvey

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Aili Malm, PhD.

A quick google shows you are a professor of criminology. Why would you be interested in people trying to self-medicate? How would you define crime?
Maybe your time would be better spent on a thesis with a title such as 'How can it be a crime without a victim?'.
Or possibly 'How people stop using legally pescribed hard drugs but move onto illegal soft drugs, saving society thousands'
Or how about 'Home growers lowering C02 emmissions'
Possibly even 'Cancer cure illegal'
Possibly, you could even look into the Marijuana Tax act of 1937 and find some loopholes.
I suspect the people of the future will look back and see the Prohibition of cannabis to be one of the most damaging laws to 'the people'
The general problem is that through all walks of life, people/forces come into power and feel that they should force their opinions on others. Sometimes, in my opinion, this can be for the better good (Terrorism, laws against murder, rape, paedophilia, drink-driving etc)
It should be remembered that in the context of history, cannabis has only been seen as illegal for a very short period of time. For an even briefer period of time, it was also largely seen as immoral, largely due to American propoganda. Something the whole world still suffers from in the form of wars etc started under a thinly disguised veil of 'Weapons of mass-destruction' or 9/11 (It's only people in the U.S.A that fall for all the propoganda on that one, the rest of the world knows Bush blew up the W.T.C 'what building can we find in America with the least percentage of home-born Americans' for an excuse to start an oil war).
Now, there are some REAL criminals.

Dr. Malm’s research interests center on the intersection between policing and social policy. She is interested in the assessment and evaluation of policing strategies and intelligence; integrating empirical evidence and theory to inform social policy; and the effect that policing has on individuals, communities, and society. In this capacity, her research requires an ability to blend theory with advanced methodologies. Her methodological toolkit includes a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. These include spatial analysis, social network analysis, simulation modeling, textual analysis using qualitative software, interviewing, and large-scale community surveying. She has also used activity-based costing models borrowed from economics to assess the changing costs of policing.

Yes, this is a legitimate research project, and I approved it before it was posted. If you don't feel comfortable answering some questions, please ignore it.

Ah, refresh and my quasi vetting of her interest is already put in play by rolli ...

Or in other words, dont be paranoid, she's not being paid by you know who for this based on her previous work IMHE.

O.K. Rollit. Thanks for the input. I may complete the survey after all.
Edit.
Turns out I'm not eligible as I don't live in the states.
