Mapito Grow Medium VS. Mapitousa THE FINAL CONCLUSION

HELLO ALL.

After a side-by-side grow with flood and drain for 2 8x6 tables.... one with each company.
First of all, I would like to say mapitousa is double the cost! WHY?! not sure... I asked my plants and they told me not to be an idiot and go with mapito grow medium. I would post pictures but I am paranoid (not legal where I am yet) and am sorry about that. I am new to this site but check me out on opengrow. Secondly, a benefit of mapito is that you can resuse it for years. Mapito grow medium (MGM) comes with a reusable hemp bag which I thought was great for future transportation and storage.
To compare on a better level, each time I use M-USA a disgusting powder arises each time and I can feel it cover my skin-and has ruined my filters on my pumps. It has a decent ratio of rockwool cubes to polyurethane I'd say 45/65. MGM keeps it European quality with about 50/50-and never any powder comes up and attacks me.

I grew each under 3000w and broke a g per watt with MGM and was just under a g with M-USA.
After talking extensively with the "mapito team" from M-USA it sounds like they hardly know what's going on and failed to give me solid advice (didn't need it but wanted to see how each company responded to fairly basic questions). On the other hand MGM was spot on with my questions and were awesome dudes!

Anyways I'm not trying to convince everyone, but Mapito Grow Medium is incredible. I'd say the finest ingredients at half the cost...so I'm gonna stick with them from now on. Just dont want anymore people to be ripped off by Mapito USA like I was-700$ later ... goodluck

Hey, I know this is an old thread but I had some experience of my own and some questions. I ordered a couple bags from Mapito USA about a year ago. I didn't get very good results because it was my first time with mapito and I made a few mistakes. Their product seemed like pretty good quality. I could see now how it wasn't ideal having big rockwool chunks though, because it left big voids that ended up with uneven moisture and dry spots.

Anyway, I notice their website is still up but always says they're out of mapito. Then I found your post here talking about being ripped off. What would you say is the main difference with MGM (now called Majestic Medium), and how is the quality? I'm thinking of giving mapito another shot instead of hydroton. Thanks.
