I worry if I am eating or smoking something.
The seeds seem interesting, sounds like xeolite. I worry about residue. If the seeds are not food grade. I would just distill cheap vodka.
I worry about trace contaminants in home concentrate making.
Can Alcohol be bought on line and shipped to your local?

I use "Maxill" food grade 95% Ethanol. They have a complete line of products. Reasonable pricing too.

I really don't understand why anyone would go through all those steps to use ethanol instead of just using 91-99% ISO. It's completely clean alcohol, and evaping off the 1-9% water is very easy.
You don't have to mess with removing the denaturing ingredients or distil anything or buy molecular sieves.
And you get a very clean concentrate that is basically identical to QWET at a much lower cost....

I didn't watch the video but they look like molecular sieves?I used 3A sieves ordered online.Depending on quality they can be really dusty and require rinsing.Sieves need to be dried further in a lab oven or a microwave like I used.After I found 200proof ethanol(shipped) I abandoned the sieves as they were too much work/time.

If I drink isopropyl alcohol I will go blind.
Without lab testing how do I know I do not have residue?
I am a med user so worry about those things.
Yes isopropyl would be radically cheaper.

Here is an idea.
Extract with isopropanol evaparevap then dissolve your concentrate into whatever 80 proof or even less alcohol, glycerin, or oil.
Advantage is you could accurately dose.
I evaporate with ethonol, then make tincture.

Sorry your OP didn't say anything about a tincture. That would be the reason to use ethanol.
As far as lab testing goes I'm hoping I have my qwiso tested this summer. I don't live in a legal state so I have to jump through some hoops to make it happen.
However my qwiso has never popped, flashed or sizzled. It has no alcohol taste or smell which makes it clean enough in my book. Alcohol evaps very easily and separates from the oils well.
I'm very confident that people inhale more alcohol vapor everyday just cleaning.

Everything is still in the freezer waiting for me to do something with it. I have been distracted because we are adopting a new puppy and I am trying to get everything straightened up in the house so it won't get chewed on. It has been a long time since we had a pup in the house. I also harvested the clones I made this week and trimmed them up and hung them to dry. I started my tincture research because I am not happy with the diesel smell/taste of the Chemdawg I grew.

Funny... Don't believe they allow mail order purchase of any form of non poisoned ethanol in Washington state!

Even with my $600 Turbo Source extractor reclaiming most of the ethanol, I went through about 5 $24 750ml bottles of Everclear. Made roughly 40 grams of concentrate.
Would very much like a 5 gallon jug of ethanol for extraction work.

The Everclear I picked up on base was $15, no state tax. I know the feds have to have their tax on any drinkable ethanol also.
