Income taxes are bullshit too. You can make that argument though yes. But most of them pay income taxes. They just do it through laundering instead of directly. Although some do it directly as well. Dispensaries do not hide what they are doing.

Your argument here can invariably lead to harsh totalitarian society though as it's the same argument non drinkers and smokers can use to justify keeping them completely illegal and possibly even denying health care for problems related to consuming these things.

It's why I'm a libertarian at heart. Even though I realize society would not be perfect, you could at least vote with your dollars and resources every day of the week and have a lot more say in the world around you then we currently have.

Glad that you brought this up because it's something that gets overlooked and most people don't get to that that level of discussion.

Income taxes inherently are collectivist and put the government and "greater good" ahead of individual rights. There is no actual upper limit in what the government can tax you hypothetically as well (just further putting government ahead of people in society).

We said. But its not even the tax issue that bothers me . it's more its the fact we should all be on a level playing field when it comes to how we make our money.
